A gem in the city. My family has been coming here all my life. I encourage everyone to make this stop! Didn't see a complete menu in the photos, so I wanted to share for everyone.

Joe Ann's Bar-B-Q was the only barbeque place my family went to for their rib dinners. I loved the Barbeque Shrimp and Joe Ann's secret sauce. 😋

I called in my order at 8pm and the great lady was more concerned about me getting the right sauce (they have mild, medium, and hot) she stated this is your first time here and I want to make you happy. She wasn't worried about what time she got done. When I came there they all treated me like family. They have been there since 1951 and I see why.

Are they closed down ? I’m craving the shrimp and fries sauce all over 🤤

I've been coming to Joe Ann's for years, if you don't know about this Jewel in the city, I hope you go and find out.. first off, the sause is brilliant! The ribs are cooked to perfection and if you get a chance, try the shrimp with mild sauce... You will thank me later.

I Loveeeee this place. They even catered the food for my husband Steven repass. Their rib tips are second to none.

It was nice the food good ... bought back a lot of memories of late night dining out when my mother would take us there as children. And it passed on in my late nights stops as well as stops in going to work getting my lunch. It had been years since the last time I had been there 'til yesterday.

Food was absolutely amazing!! I had the Turkey rib dinner with Yams and mac. I enjoyed everything. The only thing that I would suggest is more sauce on my ribs the next time, because there will be a next time!!

Good quality (BBQ) food. It's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. The food is flavorful and presented nice and neat. You can tell they take pride in service.

I've known the owners for years and to see they are still in business is so good to know, the food is good, years of experience with family recipes. They have turkey ribs too and egg custard pie😍.

Rib tips & fresh cut fries are so good with the mild sauce. Been going here all my life. A Pure Michigan, Detroit Love Classic.

Took a chance on a place ive never heard of and soooo glad i did!! Food was excellemt...arrived hot and just as i ordered. Will highly recommend to friends and family.

Joe Ann's has been around foe along. Year's last her Mom and Dad started this business. Family owned and operated. Daughters have the restaurant now.

Freshly made Catfish and Barbecue chicken with delicious sides of mac and cheese, greens, yams and black eyed peas. Clean atmosphere and very welcoming people.

Jo Anne's has always been my favorite BBQ restaurant. They have been around since I was a kid. They have the best SAUCE in the business, far as I'm concerned.

This place has been around for a loooong time. I remeber walking here with my cousins when we were children. Love their fries. Food is always good.
