By far 1 of THE BEST TACKLE SHOPS A BROTHER COULD'VE SHOPPED! CHAMP!! He was very knowledgeable and patient with my buckets of questions. The staff are super knowledgeable and welcoming. I love to fish, but am by no means anywhere past advanced. I walk in and ask questions, or pick out lures I think will work and inquire. Talking to John makes it all worth it. Thank you for answering the dumb questions I have and at the same time not trying to up sell me.

Lee's Bait & Tackle has the best live bait in the region! They have owners who are there nearly every visit and who PERSONALLY clean and care for bait arriving. The one thing you will not smell in their store is BAIT- because theirs is all fresh and cared for. They offer affordable tackle and deals on combos, rod & reel purchases, line-winding services and motor repair. If you have not been to their two stores - you need to visit Elk Grove or Carol Stream's locations - they are truly top notch! Great bass gear and hard-to-find specialized baits.

Great cutomer service and selection. My first time going in I ended up buying a $100 reel on sale for $60 and braided line that came with braid snips. They also spooled my reel for free and helped me out looking for local fishing spots. Definetly coming back.

super service. super nice people that will answer any questions you have about fishing or tackle. Will tell you hot spots on lakes and best baits to use. Prices compared to other fishing stores are by far the best. John is a really nice person and will help in every way possible. I wouldn't go to any other store to buy supplies or bait. Plus BAIT IS ALWAYS FRESH!!!!! AND HE WONT COUNT A DEAD MINNOW AS PART OF THE DOZEN like some other bait shops. I have zero negative things to say and I also speak for many people about this store. Trust me and my fishing friends. YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTED AND YOU WILL NEVER SHOP ELSEWHERE

Small Bait shop next to my favorite Rammy's Sub Contractors Sandwich shop. Very good place to go if you're fishing at BUSSE WOODS.

Stopped in to get a couple extra hooks and live bait for my god son and daughter's first fishing trip. They had some good live bait and the local guys hanging around the shop were giving some helpful advice also.

John was great! He is very knowledgeable and spent time answering all my questions. I bought my very first baitcaster and rod from him and I left there knowing I bought something that fit my needs. He offered to order anything he didn't have stocked. Shop local!

It's nice to have a bait shop near the house. Lee's has a bunch of gear plus live bait in their small store. If you're in the area and need something they've probably got what you need or can get you by for the day at the very least. Don't hesitate to stop in.

A very interesting bait and tackle shop with many of the standard types of items and a pleasantly surprising choice of high end and or unique items. It's a bit hard to find in a small strip center but worth the effort. John is the owner and has always gone out of his way to help me.

Lee’s Bait and Tackle is the only place I trust in buying live bait and hooks/lures. John is the most professional and knowledgeable individual I’ve came across in such an inviting setting. Anything you need for your trip Lee’s will have. I came in yesterday and Evan was amazing in assisting me in my live bait needs, he was very accurate and efficient in getting me in and out in a good time frame. Love this shop!

Owner/staff was very helpful. Went fishing with my girls for the first time. They had children's fishing poles we purchased from walmart that needed weights and hooks. They set it up for us.

Huge selection of live bait and supplies. The owners are very kind folks, always helpful and knowledgeable about their merchandise. I especially like their small indoor koi pond - always a pleasure seeing them swimming around.

Great small bait shop with a lot of jdm lures. After seeing reviews on here I decided to stop in since I was in the area for the weekend. Great customer service and friendly people. I will definitely stop by again and will reccomend this shop if your in the area fishing or just looking to add more stuff to your arsenal.
