We needed a custom peninsula built that would serve multiple functions; large service (dining, project) area, display shelves toward our living spaces with pull out trash/recycle combo underneath and space between the peninsula and stove for a pull out spice rack. The design and finishes are beautiful, a perfect fit for our space, functional with our added overhead lighting and even house a large drawer for my rarely used baking tools that didn’t fit anywhere else (20” rolling pin, cookie and cake decorating supplies, etc).
They also designed a perfect corner display shelf that I had installed between the end upper cupboard and my large, sunny kitchen window. It beautifully holds grandmas crystal and ceramic gifts made by family, securely.

Morgan & Main did a beautiful job on my kitchen. My team consisted of Mort, owner, Dee, admin, and Cal and Gil, cabinet maker and installation team.

New to town, I comparison shopped a big box store and two Rockford cabinet shops but I was running into a couple of problems. First, these companies are all working with pre-made boxes. The upper cabinets I pulled out were 14” deep and pre-mades are all 12”. On the lowers I was ending up with fillers and a significant amount of dead space. Second, these companies were SO SLOW in responding and the service was just terrible.

I called Morgan & Main and went in and explained what I needed. They came to the house, measured, helped with ideas and got me an unbelievable lead time. They built custom cabinets to fit my space in weeks, not months. I stopped in a number of times and saw my bases, doors and drawers in process. The quality is amazing; drawers are solid wood, good and strong, the paint finish is beautiful. They were also able to build a built-in buffet with leaded glass doors and a mud-room/coat boot area. This really pulled my space together.

Dee runs the office and she is very responsive. Whether email or voice she communicates well between customers and the team. In the early stages I spoke with someone on the team daily and the vision of my new kitchen was pulling together in days, not months. During install they communicated arrival times and cleaned up each day before they left. After install I had a short touch-up punch list and they arrived the next day!

Some things to note! I was kind of the project manager. I had to find my own electrician and my husband did the plumbing, sink, faucets and appliance install. Morgan & Main did a nice job guiding me to ensure I made timely decisions and things were done it the right order. They let me know when to select my granite and schedule the install.

I have a couple more small projects and I look forward to working with the Morgan & Main team again soon!

Mort created beautiful kitchen cabinets for me. He worked with me on what I wanted and the quality is way beyond ordered premades!

Porr quality and workmanship we had cabinets and back splash done by them and the back splash started to come off the wall called and they wanted me to fix it myself and send them the bill thats poor craftsmanship and tried to get them back out to fix it was not going to happen I needed up fixing it but beware of the poor craftsmanship of this company
