I just got out of the ER at around 1am nothing was open and oh my gods this is incredible food. Their gyros are amazing their burgers are so juicy and their service was really nice and understanding. We used drive through but me and my boyfriends adore this place!!! Go!!!! Support this amazing food!!! (Also they season their fry's and their strawberry slushie is so good) 10000/10

Generous portions! Friendly service. Comfort food at its best, I tell ya! And they serve until 4am, apparently - who knew?!

Always been great food, place used to be a little run down but they have cleaned everything up outside and it’s still the same great food! Open late as always too a plus.

They got the best homemade food in Springfield IL. I was amazed by how fast the service was done and the food is always fresh. Here is a waleye fish i got recently. Perfect

I was staying at Memorial Hospital with my mother. I was very hungry and I decided to go to California kitchen because it was open late. I could not believe how wonderful the food was. I took it to go the first time and everything was warm and fresh. I cannot believe how much food I got for the price I went back again for lunch and dined in. It was very clean and everyone was so helpful in helping me decide what to get. I wanted to try everything. So far every time I have been there it was consistent and delicious. I will highly recommend this place.
I will also try to stop here on a regular basis … I was surprised there wasn’t a tip jar because those guys in the back have a system that works. I tipped them and they said they rarely get tips. I will continue to tip them for the amazing food and great service. I loved their recommended lemon pepper spice on the fries.

My mother and I went here for the first time. The service was excellent. Very friendly. And the food was delicious! I had ordered the California Burger with fries (they have crinkled fries). My mom ordered the Buffalo ranch wrap . All of the food was delicious! They also serve big chunk servings of cake , banana pudding, and cheesecake . I will be back for sure! You can eat in or drive- thru.

The food was sumptuous, well cooked and fresh. The ambience is beautiful with very friendly staff.

Fried okra and fried pickles were excellent! The pickles were $5.99, but the box was full of them! The picture doesn't do it justice as I'd already eaten over half of them by then.

Always ordered chicken wings here. Can't never go back! One of my favorite places to grab lunch 💯

The exterior could use some touch ups. Besides that, the Food and Service is Great. Everything is cooked per order so it’s always fresh.

It's been all about beef so far. Ordered Italian beef sandwich first two visits, third visit ordered beef burger w/c. Super good taste and fast service. Last visit it was flooded outside and that didn't keep from to get my sandwich, ha
