The Gin Mill

My boyfriend and I took a weekend trip to Springfield recently and stopped here on a Friday night. We really loved the place. The bartender was friendly and mixed us good drinks. I liked that is wasn't crowded at the time we went (11pm-ish) and the music wasn't blasting loud. We could here each other talk. We hope to come back sometime.

Gin Mill is always a great time with perfect drinks in each pour and beer to the rim! Super cute out back area also and pool tables!

[Gin Lounge] Add a mirror and paper towel dispenser (to both bathrooms)...

Increase the brightness by 25%, remove some of the lounge couches and chairs. Add games(darts, pool etc.) and increase the size of the dance floor.

Think about how many bars have a 3:00 liquor license, take full advantage of it and maximize this space.

If you were a 1:00 bar, I respect the lounge vibe, but because you are one of the elite bars in this town with a 3:00 license, make your presence known.

Love Gin Mill, but I want Gin Mill Lounge to rival every other 3:00 bar. Great vibes!

The bartenders know how to make a gimlet on point 💯 and they have comfy af chairs

We went this past Saturday for the first time in over a year and a half (because of covid) now that I'm vaccinated this was the first place I wanted to go to let loose. The bartender was friendly and fantastic drinks. We love gin mill for the pool and shuffleboard. But I also really love the outside patio as well. We will be back. This is my favorite bar in the city.

Drinks were made just right with elegance and style! Nice outdoor area with space and happy place.

Always a great time when you're in Downtown Springfield

Nice place, decent prices and friendly service. The place seems to be lacking some seating. Eclectic beer list if that’s your style. Compared to the other options in town this is a good spot for a cocktail!

Good place, nice pool tables and shuffleboard in the back.

Parking and accessibility is not great, but not terrible either.

A group of us us went to see Davina and the Vagabonds there. Never had been there before but was a good experience. It became packed because of rain outside but full house and great band.

A wonderful old style cocktail themed bar with leather sectionals, baby grand piano, pool and shuffleboard tables and a cantina outside section for the warmer months. This bar has staff that will mix you a classic concoction of spirits to raise yours, add to that a select tequila and rum top rail; enjoy your night!

Great place. Exposed brick, hardwood floors tin/copper ceiling. Very cool ! We came in for a day trip to do the the usual Springfield & Abe tourist stuff. Found his place via google maps & am very happy we did .

This is a great bar. The bartender was very knowledgeable and made the experience memorable. I will definitely visit this place again when I am back in Springfield.

I love the Gin Mill! I really really! Do! Nice Chill! Cool! And you can order food to be delivered there and chill with your friends and you can do the juke box and have no smoke just chill!

The staff did a great job with a large crowd. The Levitt music was moved inside. For a surprise opening with a large crowd, they did a yomens job.👍👍👍

My favorite bar in Springfield. Unique and delicious drink menu. Great atmosphere. Talented bartenders. Fun for a night out or just a drink.

This is possibly the nicest bar in town, no joke. My jaw actually dropped when I walked in. Great staff, excellent beer selection and very reasonable drink prices!

A great place to hang with friends, shoot some pool, and throw some darts. Nice outdoor area too.

Great place!! Clean!! Nice outside smoking section!! Prices are superb for an uptown bar! Very affordable!!
