Brewhaus

Super cool bar in Springfield, good food and alcohol. About 15 different beers on tap as you can see in the picture below. Food was great bar food. Didn’t see the band because we were too early in the day but heard they have a great entertainment.

We were out of towners who ate here before checking out the Lincoln Museum. Food was great! Portions are HUGE - so be aware!
I had a burger, my husband the schnitzel. We could have easily just split one meal! Waitress/manager was great with customer service, handled a drink error well and in our favor. Would highly recommend this establishment and would eat here again without hesitation!!

I loved this place! Nice beer selection. Food was tasty, big portions and reasonably priced. Bartender was awesome!!!

It was a very relaxed/chill environment. My partners buddy was in the hospital so I went and chilled here for a few hours while they visited. the drinks were great, and the bartenders were great to have a conversation. It's definitely not an uppity type of place so if that's your vibe it might not be for you. I can't wait to go back though.

Out of towners here for the Lincoln Museum and this place looked close and local so we gave it a try...and am I glad we did! As someone from out of town, I had no idea what a "horseshoe" was. So I was simultaneously outed as a tourist and also introduced to an amazing lunch! The ambience was great and our waitress was fantastic. Despite being the only one working - I can only assume due to the ongoing labor shortage - she managed to keep everyone's drinks topped up and food out on time. There were a couple of local guys who the waitress knew by name. The place a local hangout vibe and I enjoyed that we were welcomed in. Check it out, it's worth it!

1st... AWESOME PLACE and AWESOME ppl. This is family owned, we know because we met the owner who was also our cook. It was late, an hour past when the kitchen was closed down for the night. Staying in Springfield there are only a few places open late. This being 1 of them. Our bartender told us that the owner would be happy to cook what ever we wanted! Food and drink...both AWESOME! We was the only ppl there, and felt as if we belonged! Very cool atmosphere too. If you are in or traveling thru Springfield IL... I recommend here.

You wouldn't expect it by looking at the outside of the building but this place is surprisingly big on the inside. They had great food and cheap beer. The service was very good but it took a while to get our food (we came in for lunch with a large group). Overall I was very happy and it seemed like everyone in the group was too.

Very kind and friendly staff, great drink selection, great food!! Everytime I go to a restaurant or bar, if they have brisket, I get it. This place has the best brisket I've ever tried! Sooooo good!! If you're thinking about going to brewhaus, give them a try. Worth it :)

Its great! I had the chicken philly and it was delicious. The food is amazing, the prices are great and you get plenty of everything!

I have seen this place evolve over the years andI must say that the current Brewhaus is really a great combination of good drinks and atmosphere. Now with a good menu (up scale bar food but good portions and quality) I'm really happy with this place. The restrooms all leave much to be desired but it keeps with the old dive bar charm this place used to have an owner ot two ago. When in town visit the Brewhaus for a good drink, good food and enjoy the upstairs finally. It's been closed to patrons for years.

Went here for lunch. Just want to say the food was great, the portions were great, and the price was great. I got the black and Bleu burger and loved it.

The staff here are always so kind!! The best part of this place are their homemade potato chips, Oh My Gawwd! They are so yummy!!! Actually the food there is great all around. Highly recommended.

Must try on a visit. Heard about the horse shoe. Found out that's the big portion, pony shoe is smaller. Open face hamburger covered with fries and cheese sauce. It's not healthy so don't worry about it. It's one of the best things you'll ever eat.

Great lunch spot! Lots of beers on draft and good music playing. The chicken Philly was amazing and so were the bourdon glaze wings.

Fun bar with cozy atmosphere and great music! Wonderful mix of beers on tap as well. Definitely recommend for anyone that's scoping out places to stop in and have some drinks downtown.

Food was excellent & affordable. Cool historic environment. Place was cold though.

Went there after a disappointing time at the Iron and Forge. The food was amazing, and our waitress was super friendly. Will definitely be going back!

Stayed in Springfield overnight on our travels along Route 66, struggled to find anywhere open but a local recommended Frankie's, thank you, thank you, thank you! 7oz Ribeye Sandwich, OMG, wow, what can i say? Just delicious, tender steak, home made fries, excellent service, lady serving us was friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable. 5 of us in party, can't recommend enough.

I really liked this bar, it had a good feel to the place, the food we ordered arrived quickly and was good. I'd of loved to spend more time here, and if I'm ever back in this area again I would not hesitate in coming back here.

Our server, Amanda, went out of her way to make us happy. Frankie, the owner came out and made sure we were fed. Excellent burger and fries!!
