The Grille

Was visiting for business and tried this restaurant since it was connected to my hotel/airport. It was of great convenience while waiting for my flight. The first night I went I ordered a salmon chaser, added bacon, and onions. It was the best salad I have tasted in a LONG TIME! The next day I ordered the steak and it was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. My sides were very starchy with Mac and mashed potatoes but it was worth the calories!

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of being served by Glen for dinner and drinks. He is an excellent bartender, conversationalist and overall great guy! And then in the morning we were served breakfast by Jamey. She was equally as wonderful and helpful. We actually had such a great experience, we choose to go to Huntsville over Birmingham on our next trip down south.

Hands down melt in your mouth goodness. Best steak I have had in a while.

This was a warm welcome to an early arrival. Staff was extremely friendly. Had biscuits and gravy and was not disappointed one bit. Sat for about 2 hours waiting on other travel issues and the staff told me to take all the time I needed and kept the coffee flowing! Quite a few breakfast options and if I am ever back in Huntsville again I will make sure to go before I leave the airport.

The wait staff was great! Good food and reasonably priced for being at an airport.

Service was top tier, food was cooked just like I liked it. Bartender and staff were welcoming. Restaurant was very clean.

Not at all bad for a restaurant in a tiny airport. 5 stars because it is really your only choice...but worth it. Solid rotating selection of about a dozen local beers, including a couple good porters and a tripel. Had the black bean burger and it was one of the best I have ever had. Other folks at the bar had other dishes that all looked really good.

A pretty good buffet and a nice place to hang out and have a drink when you get stuck at the airport.

The food was great and our server, Robyn was so attentive, personable and funny. We were having a lunch with a friend who was flying out and we had my cranky 9 month old with us. She played with him and brought him some lids to play with to keep him occupied and brought us some napkins when he decided to make a mess (even though she said he could make a mess and she'd clean it up.) We ate and hung out for about an hour afterwards and we weren't rushed to leave and she talked to us like we were family. I'd eat here everyday if we didn't live so far!

My family was flying back to Europe on Friday (10-12-18), and we had a little time to spend together before they went through security. So we decided to stop at The Grille (inside the airport), so they could get some hot tea & an OJ. We sat at the tables "outside", and Ms. Mary D. is who waited on us. She was very-very attentive and nice -even though we didn't order any food. She brought out the tea box to let my Aunt choose which one she wanted, which was very nice. My Aunt has MS & had her walker with her, but this saved her having to walk unnecessarily. Ms. Mary came by several times to check on us. We were spending more "time" talking rather than money, but Ms. Mary still went above & beyond in my opinion. If I could have afforded it, I would've tipped her even more just for her kind heart & service. I hope her managers appreciate her, as much as we did. She deserves a BIG KUDOS! Blessings to each!

I LOVED it. Really. Food great, service fast n friendly. Salads fresh and crispy. Wings plump/juicy. Seafood gumbo spicy and flavorful. You’ll be happy.
