Have not been to this restaurant for few years, but they have improved considerably. Food was seasoned enough. Will visit again soon.

0623 - Food was prepared with enough spices. Prices appear to be comparatively higher than many other Mexican restaurants.

1223 - No change. Good tasting food as it has been recently.

0224 - No change, but substituting vegetables for meat will cost you whole lot more.

Food was delicious, tired pineapple in my chicken bacon quesadilla, it was a sweet surprise! Service was amazing, quick and attentive. Only downfall was music was a bit to loud, next time I’ll sit somewhere far from ceiling speakers.

Although they have several location, Athens is our FAVORITE! We always get the Hawaiian nachos, and these grilled jalapeños are amazing! Hot but so good! Sometimes service is good, sometimes not. Depends on who you get. They're on the pricy side, but most dishes have enough to share or make two meals out of. I hate their salsa tho. It tastes like pure tomato, no spices :<

Delicious Mexican food and if I could give 6 stars for my request to leave off the disgusting cilantro, I would. The authentic Mexican street tacos were truly delicious, WITHOUT that nasty cilantro. The chips were hot and freshly made, and salsa was delicious with very little cilantro in it that could readily be avoided. The spicy red sauce that came with the street tacos was fantastic in that it had a smoky and spicy flavor.

I don’t understand the negative reviews; we have never had a bad meal here.
We used to eat at a different chain, but the food here changed our minds and we have never been back!
The prices are maybe higher, but you get what you pay for. We asked the staff for their recommended dishes and they haven’t disappointed us yet!

We stopped on our way through from Florida to Indiana on a whim. The food was absolutely delicious. They had a few unique options we had not seen in an authentic Mexican restaurant before. The service was excellent! It is a little gem we will stop at again on our next trip through!

Took my Mom for lunch she loved it. Service was good. Food was outstanding...we treated ourselves to a Chocolate Chimichanga...ohhhh my gosh...heavenly...highly recommended.

Even though we asked multiple times for no onions they acted as if they didn't hear us. Also recommend a meal for my ten year old that was so spicy hot she couldn't even attempt to eat it. Besides that the personal were very friendly.

My favorite place to eat Mexican food. Great staff and love there in house margaritas. You have to try it if you ever come to Athens Alabama.

We absolutely loved this spot! Short walk and a daring pedestrian cross of a highway, but worth it! Staff was amazing, food was out fast, great experience all around!

It was seriously the best food from a Mexican style restaurant we’ve ever had. It was flavorful, fresh , and well prepared!

Everyone was awesome here. We came 1 hour before closing on a saturday. They answered many questions that we had about their margaritas. We went with the owners suggestion, the Bulldog Margarita. Awesome choice.
We had our dependable chicken fajitas.
Great choice. It was still tasty 2 days later for leftovers.

We always go for Brainblast trivia on Tuesday nights at 6:00! Such a great place to spend time and enjoy each other’s company. Service is always great and food is always delicious. Excited to give it a try at the new location!
