Long wait, but well worth it. I drive over a hour for Whitts. It's worth it. Try the turkey, and don't skip the white sauce.

I ordered a half chicken to go for $5.50!! It was awesome! Cooked through but not dry! Everyone isn't that good! I ate it before taking a picture, LOL! Thanks a Bunch!!!

You can never go wrong with the stew box. This has some of the best BBQ around.

I'm from Decatur originally and ate Whitt's all the time. We were in town for a quick trip and picked up 16 pounds of pork to take back to our family in Atlanta. Guess what's for dinner!

Decatur, Alabama is known for BBQ. Instead of going to the "dancing pig" go to Whitt's Barbeque on Spring Avenue if you want real BBQ with real BBQ flavor. Any way you want it , pork, chicken, in a potato, on a plate, it is the best. And be sure to get the corn chowder!

Totally subjective opinion but this is easily my favorite BBQ sandwich anywhere I've tried. I love the pork lunch box, comes with a BBQ sandwich, baked beans, potato salad, drink and a cookie for around 7 bucks. Great lunch. Or if you prefer they have a stew box which comes with a pint of Brunswick stew, which is awesome by itself, a sandwich, drink, pickle and cookie for about the same price. They also have plates and other meals to choose from to feed a family but I've only ordered their lunch options. Definitely recommend giving them a try if you're in the mood for BBQ. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Loved trying the pork plate that comes with a roll, baked beans, Cole slaw, & potato salad. For dessert is coconut pie slice for my taste of my experience & it was good during this summer season.

Whitts is excellent. Love their potatoes although I'm not sure why they cut back on butter and stopped giving white sauce with them. Make sure you ask for it. Pork and chicken are delicious. Staff is fast and friendly.

Stopped in last night to get a gallon of Brunswick stew, I’ve always loved y’all’s stew and I was not disappointed at all, it’s the best around hands down. Thank you for providing me with happy memories and wonderful food.

I've been too some Very tasteful BBQ places and enjoyed most some what, But Whitt's Barbecue has the best tasting shredded pork and ribs I've tasted too me! They have a natural juice in them that keeps it moist and never dry! Plus they have sauces too put on your sandwich with it. Then I tasted their ribs and they melted in my mouth! Differently give them a 5 star hands down!

My family has been eating this BBQ for over 20 years and it’s our favorite. The pork is my favorite but chicken is also delicious. They have the best vinegar slaw, stuffed potatoes, and chocolate pie! I highly recommend grabbing a lunch box.

I no longer live in Alabama and when I visit this is a have to stop place for me. The food is amazing and I always purchase extra to bring home. This visit the lady at the window was really nice and patient with us especially my husband who was unsure of what to get. He really enjoyed the sandwich.

Whitt's has excellent BBQ! I especially love their pulled pork sandwich! Their Brunswick is delicious! I buy it by the gallon and then put it in the freezer so that I will have some handy when I am craving it!

They have wonderful bbq pork sandwiches. And the tea is just the right amount of sweet. I always go inside it's just faster. Very nice service.

This is my second review, but I just have to say more. I picked up BBQ pork to take home to Georgia and Mark Whitt so graciously offered to put it in a cooler with ice since I arrived so ill-prepared without a cooler large enough for all I bought. These folks have the BEST BBQ!
