Everyone is so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable on the different pets. We have developed an obsession for tarantulas. They have the best variety for a local shop. Pictured is our newest arachnid, a Mexican Red Rump.

Very nice reptile store. Nice selection. Good quality. We bought dubia roaches and crickets and they were healthy and obviously well taken care of. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable

I had a wonderful experience with Animal Trax! I promised my son a snake for his 10th birthday and we had settled on a corn snake. I went to Animal Trax excited to have found a local pet store. I wasn't disappointed. A very nice employee, Zada, educated me on everything I was going to need. They walked me around the store showing me everything and answering my questions. They were happy to walk around again when I later came back with my son. They patiently showed him the different snakes they had available and let him handle each one to decide which he wanted. They then helped him choose the hides, greenery, bedding, and water dish we needed. Then they helped him set up the entire terrarium so we could put our new little friend inside right away when we got home. Then they and another employee loaded it into my car for me. I was also told that I could call or message with any questions or concerns I have in the future. I couldn't be happier! Highly recommend shopping here just for the personal service, BUT it should also be noted that the prices were great too. I bought a 40 gallon tank, 3 pieces of greenery, 3 hides, a large bag of bedding, a water dish, a heat lamp, a heat bulb, the corn snake, and a keychain for $500. That's about 2/3 of what I was quoted for less product at a chain store.

Lovely Place! I just bought a bearded dragon about 9 days ago. The staff was wonderful and helpful! All their animals looked well kept and happy! 10/10. There was a slight smell but it didn’t bother me or my family. Good prices for all their animals and insects. Had the cutest little Guinea Pigs. Here’s a few pics of my beardie Willow! :) She loves small pieces of raspberries.

Very knowledgeable, very helpful. Lots of exotic animals, and the supplies needed to sustain them like varieties of live food. It is where I will get all my animal foods for my lizards. It is also local and gets their animals from ethically sourced local locations.

What a great group of people. The owner and her daughter are very knowledgeable and kind. My husband and I are new leopard gecko parents to Madam Mim. They are always so patient with us and the millions of questions we have. We bought are baby from them and she is precious. We paid for her and they were nice enough to let her stay in the store until we had her tank fully set up at home. I don't know any business that would allow you to do that. We bought our live crickets there as well. The price is great and they take good care of the feed so they live a long time and they make better food for our gecko. I sing their praises to everyone who will listen. Jamie and Kaitlyn have made life long customers of us. Thank you so much!

I travelled all the way from Tampa after my sister purchased a Tangerine Honduran Milksnake for me as a gift. I’ve owned snakes before; 2 corns, 1 king and now this. I was so impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of the people working here. They were so accommodating as well. I couldn’t immediately make the trip so they held on to him and cared for him until I could pick him up. There are so many reptile dealers in Florida but Animal Trax was worth a 10 hour drive.

Visit! For either fun or for purchase of pets or supplies. This is the first place my kids held a snake. The owners and workers are so kind. They love animals and people.

I've had reptiles for over a year and didn't know about this place until February! I highly recommend! They are very knowledgeable, unlike Petco etc. Great variety of decor, food and feeders! I have to drive almost an hour to get there twice a month but it's so worth it! Won't go anywhere else for my feeders! Just recently got a bearded dragon from their June hatchlings and it's so healthy and lively! Will have to come back this weekend for for dubias :)

Great prices on little bugs & worms for our leopard gecko. A friend recommended we come here. And im glad they did. I got the bugs & worms pictured plus a vine for our hermit crabs and was $13 total.

I never want to step into another Pet Supplies store again! The service was great and nothing was overpriced. It was really enlightening that all of the animals are well taken care of. This will be my new go-to pet store :)

If you are into tarantulas and in North Alabama, then this store its a great place to check out. They have everything from feeders to tarantula cribs as well as a very nice variety of spiders. Just picked up an amazing gooty sapphire from there.

Their care for the animals is genuine, and they show a real interest in animals you’ve bought and taken home. They have a wide variety of supplies on hand but will also make special orders. Very reasonable prices, especially how much they have to pay for overnight FedEx shipping anytime they order an animal. Support local and also woman-owned!

We went to Animal Trax in search of sweet guinea pigs and found them!! Our new babies are brothers who are social and healthy! The customer service was outstanding. I think we spent an hour or two there asking questions and making sure we were 100% prepared for this new venture. The piggies have been with us 3 weeks now and we couln't love them more!! Thank you Animal Trax!!
