Iced Milky Way coffee was really good. We also got a hot health coffee and that was even better. Nice atmosphere perfect for doing some homework and catching up with friends. The people that served us were kind and attentive

Look great place to study or meet friends. Quiet atmosphere and also has private meeting rooms. Staff is awesome and I love spending time here. I meet with Friends and have breakfast and a great Chai Tea.

Friendly staff, clean little shop. Took the family in for lunch on a Saturday and had the White Knight, which was good. Kids had the orange creamscicle smoothies that they loved.
Their sandwiches are basic, but good.

Excellent coffee shop! Visited for the first time a few days ago for a meeting with a potential client. Loved the private room for the meeting! Coffee was great! The chicken salad sandwich was very good. Service was spot on. Oh yeah, I signed a contract and now they are no longer a potential client, they are a great new client! I WILL be coming back!

Comfortable, informal ambiance with plush, leather seating - no uncomfortable school desk-type seating such as certain national chains that shall remain unnamed. Reasonable prices, great service. I didn't order food so can't comment.

Looks a little ran down but man the food and service is outstanding, could not have had a better breakfast/ I had to edit the post for the scones and bless who made them ❤🤣

Best coffee in Decatur! At 7:30 a.m., it's like nectar of the gods, as far as I'm concerned. And the blueberry scones are wonderful! It's my breakfast nearly every day, Monday through Friday. If you go for lunch, I highly recommend the chicken salad sandwich. Delicious! I love this place.

This was our first time stopping by Java J Cafe in Decatur.
I had a White Knight Mocha, my hubby had a Mint Condition Mocha coffee and we each had egg ham & cheese breakfast sandwich.
Coffee was better than Starbucks, the atmosphere was nice, quiet & relaxing. A very enjoyable breakfast b4 running our errands.

Java Jaay has been one of my favorite cafés for quite some time now. The owner, Bunk, is always so friendly, his coffee is delicious, and service is ALWAYS unparalleled. There are new faces that share the same work ethic on staff that are equally skilled in food and coffee prep. I've always fast, reliable service.
HIGHLY recommend this independent small business owner's place!

EDIT: the new girls at the register is much friendlier than the other lady that used to be there!!!

Java Jay is truly a gem to our area. They are the perfect little place for lunch especially when you don't want greasy fast food. Their chicken salad sandwiches are the bomb 💣. Service is quick and friendly. Can't beat em!

My first time there. Invited for a business meeting. The other party bought my drink. I had a peach smoothie that was delicious. Nice atmosphere. Mostly teen to early twenties staff, so not overly friendly, but not rude.
They have a very small private room, which I assume can be reserved. The other party and I conducted our business there undisturbed. Recommended.

From the outside the coffee shop looked closed (9:30am) so we drove around the place to see if the lights were on. It was open so my wife, daughter & I went in and it was a cozy little place with nice atmosphere. The coffee and blueberry muffin I had was great. Daughter had a dirty chai and ham panini and she loved it. Wife had a “Milky Way”and it was also delicious. We will definitely be back.

Such a cute little coffee shop! The inside is just quiet enough to focus but with the quiet jazz music playing its perfect background noise. The guy working was extremely polite and helped me and my friend pick out a coffee! Highly recommend!

Great food, coffee, service, and atmosphere! Our family has patronized JJ since it opened many years ago. Always consistently excellent and Bunk & staff like family.
