Donut Express

So let me set the stage for you. It's 5am and you got a hankering for doughnuts. You drive up to a dark parking lot filled with cars and a small lit hut of a business. You walk inside and there isn't much there, some tables in the center with a line that wraps around. You look at the display walking up and there's about 15 items to choose from. All of them are fresh fried rings of dough, simple yet visually alluring. I could not decide which one's to get... So I got them all! I took them home and tried them all out in private, the most notable were the apple fritter and the red velvet. They were DEVINE. I, hundred percent recommended this place for any morning cravings. Stop wasting time thinking about it, just go.

Local donut shop that sells more than donuts. They have HANDS DOWN the absolute best breakfast burrito ever! I prefer the steak but I've tried them all and they are all amazing. They have homemade kolache and croissants. If you can't find anything to eat here, you aren't even human.
I stop every single time I come to Decatur to get breakfast and a donut. The ladies that fix your food are amazing and super friendly and nice. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait because it's busy but ALWAYS worth the wait.

We got an assortment of donuts at work and they were DELICIOUS!! i’m not from decatur but i’ve been wanting to try donut express ever since i heard about it!! the red velvet donut is absolutely my favorite. if you’re in decatur, do yourself a favor and stop by!!

My absolute favorite is the chorizo burrito with red salsa! I could eat one every day!! They have a wonderful selection of donuts that taste so delicious and a staff that is so friendly!

The best donuts hands down!!! I moved to Tennessee, tried a donut location and instantly missed Donut Express. Needless to say, I never went back to that location. Their ( Donut Express) donuts are light and fluffy at the same time. Soft and delicious!!! Even when I lived in Madison, AL, I’d drive to Decatur to eat at Donut Express. Just yummy 😋. My favorite is the maple bar!!! I got to stop by there today and was so happy. Great Donuts, Awesome Customer Service!!! YOU HAVE TO STOP BY HERE!!! They have the best donuts. (PERIOD)

My sister in law brought me here. I had never even noticed the building before. They legit have some of the best donuts I've ever tasted! She got the breakfast burrito, and it smells amazing. She said it's fantastic.

The Donut Express is one of the few gems in Decatur, AL that I will eat at. They have wonderful customer service. The employees are extremely friendly. It’s clean and nice inside this gem. The food is AMAZING! Try one of the breakfast burritos. You won’t regret it!!! The doughnuts are also AMAZING!!! I will always be a customer here. Keep up with the great work ladies & gents!!!!

Easily the best donut shop in town. Their breakfast burritos/croissants are super good, filling, and inexpensive breakfast too. Be sure to come early though, because by nine o'clock all the stuff you might want may have already been snatched up!

Excellent staff, female owned and operated and perfect breakfast food and cappuccinos when you're in a hurry. Can't recommend enough!

I visited Donut Express today to get some donuts for the fire fighter recruitment class in Decatur. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the donuts are delicious. I would recommend this Business.

Update...this has become a very regular visit for us. Loving the kolaches! Their cafe de leches is delicious too

Great service and great quality in doughnut, ho hot temperature I hott chocolate the coffee, to strung, prefer don't drink , breakfast burrito not recommended, it overhear food , don't like the sheet and my daughter llove the pig in blanket and cornices not eat because everything made with pork and don't like pork at all costumer service are great !!

First time to visit. Did wait in line for a few minutes but everything is made fresh and people kept coming in!! Got the sausage egg and cheese burrito and it was awesome!! Will definitely go back!!
