Crazy good - best fried shrimp I’ve ever had. We were here 3 days and ate here twice.

Sweet pepper onion garlic is amazing.

Wow! Best fried shrimp I've ever eaten! Stopped by for lunch after a morning at the beach. What a surprise; large, tender, perfectly cooked shrimp coated in garlic sauce and parmesan! They were incredibly flavorful and tasty. The coconut was good too along with the seasoned fries, but it's the garlic parm that has us craving more! Large portions made the price seem reasonable. Easy parking off 61st street. We will def be back!

Drove all the way down from Austin just to come here😜. Just kidding, we were coming anyway, I’ve been talking about it for weeks though. Came here a few months ago with my father-in-law and now I took my wife. The garlic parmesan shrimp is the best. Will definitely come eat here again next time we are in Galveston.

Food Truck! Nothing but Shrimp.

I didn't know either of the 2 above bits, though was fine adapting expectations in this instance. It's Right off the road. There's a few covered picnic benches there so you can enjoy the food fresh and hot.
Menu is straight forward. You can get an order of 10 shrimp in a variety of flavors. It's either fried or "naked". Shrimp are all a good size.
They also have slightly larger peel & eat shrimp in a 6 count.
Order comes with hush puppies that are a bit small but still taste good.
There were a couple sides available. We only tried the French fries. I was interested in the slaw, but we already had too much food.

Great little spot for your shrimp fix. Our group got buffalo, Parmesan, and coconut shrimp with two orders of fries total was $45. Such a steal! This is quality food truck with outdoor seating for groups. There is also a tiny dock attached. Personally my favorite was the coconut shrimp with apricot dipping sauce.

Some of the best fried gulf shrimp I've ever had! Fresh, perfectly prepared, crispy batter, flavorful jumbo shrimp with Cajun seasoning. The hush puppies were great too. Both the tartar sauce and the cocktail sauce were fresh and savory. Will definitely come back to make my way through the various different seasonings for the batter.

An amazing jumbo go wild caught shrimp. Literally very delicious crunchy perfectly done. I read them at five stars all the way from San Antonio. This place has a secret an needs to be shared .. must see !!

This little food truck on the side of the road could easily expand! There was a long line, but we could see why after we finally received our order! It was very fresh. The garlic parmesan naked shrimp and coconut battered shrimp were a big hit with my family. I loved the crab sticks too, although clearly imitation crab meat. Be prepared to wait if there's a line. It took over 30 min to get our food after waiting in a pretty short line for about 20 min.

Has a straightforward menu and the cajun shrimp was perfectly fried and seasoned. My food was served piping hot, fresh and I had quick and excellent service. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a bite to eat :)

Had the Parmesan Garlic Shrimps and I only can say one word: delicious!

This place is wonderful! Friendly staff and the food was amazing, best shrimp in Galveston, my opinion. We were in Galveston for 3 days and ate there twice. Would've been more if it were up to me!

First time here, been waiting to catch them open and finally got that chance. Got the lemon pepper fried jumbo shrimp and it’s delish!! Love it!! Hush puppies are great, best I’ve had and I really don’t care to eat those but I always try them at other places however the taste is awesome, like a feeling pow in your mouth! Back to the shrimp, they are cooked to perfection. I can’t say enough. Really great fried shrimp!! 😁 Thanks Mike for good customer service!

The BEST!!! I found this place last week and have driven back 3 times since from Pearland. The shrimp are large, fresh and delicious! Hush puppies are like little homemade clouds of Heaven and the shrimp slaw is fantastic! Did I say I LOVE this place?!

Fabulous jumbo shrimp, parmesan garlic and regular. So fresh. Just scrumptious! Thank you for such a great way to end my trip. Fun watching the sea gulls. Great apple fried pie as well.

The shrimp are big and fresh! This is our 2nd time to stop here on a trip to Galveston and will definitely be back! Get there early. They were out of boiled shrimp and crabsticks, only had the fried shrimp and fries, but they were excellent! Best hush puppies we've had all trip!!

Darlene's is awesome! Great food, great prices and a friendly staff. That fried shrimp is what dreams are made of! Keep up the good work y'all!

Food was quick and excellent! We had coconut and sweet pepper onion. Delish! My husband didn’t get the hush puppies and the “kids” interrogated him before they gave him his twp 😆

I ate the lemon pepper fried shrimp. The batter is similar to wing shack, but better, and on shrimp. It was the best tasting shrimp I've had in a long time. They provide two dipping options that both go great, one a bit more spicy than the other.
