Awesome place to camp and get away from life for a few days! All the facilities you need well kept and clean. The Scouts had a great time here.

The little shelter we rented was clean and was screened in. Had a ceiling fan but recommend you bring your own. Had lights and a power outlet. A girll outside with tables and a beautiful scenery and is close to the water. Great price for a outdoor getaway.

Camp sites 27 & 28 were great. An easy walk to the swim area and and great views of the lake from the sites as well.

They were small cabins but that was expected. Went for a birthday party. Lots of fun

Beautiful campground and park! We loved it here! It didn’t even feel like Texas to us, more like we were in the Southwest somewhere with the Rocky lakeside and windy road. Lots of deer and turkey everywhere too! I think the campgrounds are very nicely laid out with lots of room between each site and pretty flat too. They all shave their own covered picnics tables which is a big bonus. There are bathrooms and showers on site but nothing to brag about. The campsites do not have sewer hookups but there is a dump station just on the outside of the campground loop. We only wish we could have enjoyed our stay there longer but we had to keep moving. This is a beautiful park only 10 minutes from Temple. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

My daughter stayed out there with about (I think) 6 other folks with campers for labor day week/weekend. We had my grandson's birthday party out there as well and everyone had a blast.

Love this place. My family has been coming here for an entire week annually for Easter. The restrooms are clean. Set ups are efficient and easy access. Clean grounds, tables with coverings, tent, camper, cabin options. Small or large gathering spots available. Playground, single hoop basketball court, etc. Many event options to choose from. Staff is rule abiding but polite. Secured gate access.

This is a family friendly park with a playground near the entrance, a decent sized swim area for the kids, boat ramp, and a marina nearby. Bathrooms are centrally located, and seemed to be cleaned often. Quiet time is respected. Pic is of sunset view from our reserved spot.

This is our favorite place to camp at Lake Belton. There are lots of shaded camping spots and lots of fun wild life to see like deer, roadrunners and turkeys. We always bring our boat and love this limestone lake. Its clear and clean. There is a nice boat ramp at this park and nice playgrounds for the kids. My boys always bring their bikes and love to ride around. The park is well maintained and we have never had issues with loud noises. We are going on our 4th year of camping here and it never disappoints.

Very impressive campground! Tent sites with electric, clean bathrooms, and animals galore! Deer literally walk up to your site! You can walk down to the little beach, and witness wildlife at its best. Added text: my trips here just keep getting better. Tonight a red bird and his wifey came to hang out at my campsite.

Awesome spot for camping!! Our first time here for Memorial Day weekend and we only paid $30 for 2 nights. We used the “cabin” to keep all of our food and drinks, fishing poles, ice chests, ect. And had plenty of room for 3 tents and a small campfire. Public restrooms were in walking distance with showers. Not bad at all, everyone enjoyed and will definitely come back.

Such a wonderful resource so close to home! The Campground is big, has two boat ramps, a swimming area, pavilions to rent, and a lot of cedar trees! Only drawback is there are not enough trash dumpsters.

Very nice park with lots of beautiful oak trees. Many wild turkeys and deer in this park. The gate attendant, Lois, seems a bit grouchy. She was also grouchy on our first visit here. She left a lasting impression on me. Not a good one. Gate attendants are the first people you see at a park. These people should be pleasant and use proper etiquette. In other words...be nice or stay home. Our site#28 has no trees but a beautiful view!

Love this park! Pads are nice with parking for extra vehicle. Lots of space trees and green between spaces. Ended up here cause we got to Mother Neff a day early only to find the campground was full. This was only 16 miles down the road but am so glad we found it!

Nice ACOE park. Lovey lake and grounds. Lots of wildlife. Sites are level and have a covered picnic table. Water pressure very strong. No full hookups. Bathrooms are very old but clean. No heat in restrooms. Would gladly go back.
