New spot in temple serving AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Don’t come here expecting the normal Tex mex style of food. We’ve been brainwashed to think peas and carrots belong in Mexican rice. Daily specials, Mondays are .99$ tostadas. Bar drinks offered. Everything from the salas, chips to dip, tortillas, and seasoning is all homemade & authentic. Prices are reasonable and little lower compared to a taqueria around here. Kid liked his food so much he wanted to order more which never happens. Only suggestion would be to offer bigger portions. Portions and prices do match but they could charge a little more and portion and little more as well. Check em out!

I was very unsure about trying this place because it didn’t look open and there was no cars but I’m so glad we did! This place is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. It’s family owned and the staff is just wonderful. I can’t find Mexican food like this anywhere else these days! So good, a must try!

The food here is delicious and the staff is very friendly. We can vouch for the Menudo, Beef fajita nachos, chicken quesadillas and the barbacoa tacos were all very good.

Found this on Google while looking for places to eat and it did not disappoint. Authentic cuisine and very reasonably priced. The chips were fresh and the red and green salsas were delicious! I had the Birria taco plate which had 2 tacos and plenty of portions of rice and beans along with a consomé. Highly recommend and will be back again.

This is by far the most authentic, street, hard working Latin man food. I am blown away by their tacos and their prices can't be beat! You have to look past the building location, you can tell this is someone reaching for the stars to make their dreams come true. Hubby and I went there for the first time today for lunch. He ordered nachos with fajita steak and main ordered the pupusa taco and fajita steak tostada. Everything was delicious! The habanero mango chile was exceptional. The staff was super friendly and attentive. This place is a new fave and we Highly recommend it

Food here is great! Tried for the first time (ordered through DD) and everything was delicious. Although I didn't get to try the Chips and Salsa because when I recieved my order it wasn't there. Called the restaurant and the lady I spoke with assured me she handed it to the dasher, Melissa. After attempting to communicate with no response I can only assume she, the dasher, stole it. But not the restaurants fault. This is probably the most authentic Mexican food I've had in temple so far. Everything seems made from scratch. Will definitely order again! Give them a try!

Today was my first time trying this restaurant. Someone shared it to the Temple TX City Watch on Facebook about $1 tostadas on Mondays. So, I dropped in. I decided to ask if they happen to sell birria tacos because all my friends have bragged about them on Facebook and I've never personally tried one. They happen to have some extra today (usually only offered on Fridays and Saturdays). I ordered just one plus five $1 tostadas because I'm not cooking today. Mannnnnn that birria taco is absolutely delicious! I should've gotten two. I will definitely be a regular customer! The young lady who helped me at the window was super nice. 5 stars easily!

I like their scrambled eggs, I like them crispy on corn tortilla, the 2/5 mini burrito (full up taco) are awesome!
Hope they are open again , the breakfast plates are good too, the coffee they served it on a clay cup has a great taste.

Yep, yep, really good food. Flavorful salsas with good heat. Got the Bistec Ranchero daily special and was super glad I did. Hubby got the menudo and said it was real good. Just passing through or this could easily become a regular place for us. Really good prices.

The birria might be the "star of the show", but every single.thing we had here was awesome right down to the fresh chips and salsa.

I live in Austin but travel to Dallas at least once a month. I make a point to stop here every trip up or down. The service is wonderful and the food is solid. It's a small family run business and you can tell they take a lot of pride in there restaurant.

This is my go to place for tacos! The mini tacos are always amazing! I also love the green salsa and lemonade. I'm sure everything else is delicious too but I love the tacos so much I've never ordered anything else. The service is always wonderful, whether I dine in, use the drive through, or oder delivery. Definitely a top place to eat in Temple!

Hidden gem!!! Tried it for the first time. Owners are very friendly, the young man behind the counter was so polite. Got to-go, got home, the food was hot and delicious. Tapas are Addictive! Red sauce, amazing! Spicy but not too hot, tons of flavor. I will be back!!

This place is amazing. Food is so fresh. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, definitely the real deal on Mexican food. Highly recommend. Took my son and his family today and they loved it. My favorite new place.

I ordered breakfast tacos at the drive through. Best I have had in Temple! Bacon fried to perfection, tortillas were perfect (not too tthick), food was hot and the salsa was great! I prefer a salsa that is not chunky. Tapas salsa was awesome!

This is our new favorite place to go. Everyone is so kind and the food is top notch. Also, the chips you get at the beginning of the meal are real fried tortillas and not just out of a bag. They really go the extra mile. So happy to have found Tapas Tapas!

I have been here several times for breakfast and have not been disappointed once. The food and staff are great. I highly recommend the burrito combo. Be prepared to not eat it all! Definitely will be back again and again.

New favorite place. Don't judge a book by its cover. Outside needs work, but the inside doesn't disappoint. Will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends. Keep up the great work!🙂
