Mary E. Shipman, DO

I normally see Dr Din but he had no available times open. I saw Dr. Shipman and she was outstanding. I actually had covid and just never seemed to get better after still doing what I was told. I stumbled upon Dr Shipman by chance. She took the time to explain to me why I was not getting better and explained my xrays in ways I could understand. I have considered switching Doctors and have decided after seeing her and how she seemed to have concern for my health and truly cared how I felt.
Would definitely refer her and i have decided to switch to her.

doctor shipman is probably the best doctor i have ever seen she really genuinely cares and listens to the patient and actually takes her time explaining things and really wants to help and get to the bottom of your issue. i was very impressed im now making her my primary care provider awesome doctor

How can a patient go to your office and you tell them you won't prescribe their previous medicine for sleep and don't provide an alternative medicine so they can sleep more than a few hours a night? You send them to psychiatric doctor for sleep medicine but that's weeks away! One star added for your concerns for the patient, but try to do some effective good also! The patient is just surviving due to her grittiness over her many decades of life no thanks to you!

After seeing Dr. Shipman today, I will be looking for a new doctor. Mary Shipman seemed to be on edge today and talked to me as if I was an inconvenience to her. Without giving me health questions here, ai can say when I was asking questions and looking for her professional advice, she was unable to give that to me. The answer she kept giving me was "I don't know, I can't tell you".
I asked for her to see about a second opinión from someone in the building with her response being, I guess I could grab someone curb side and ask their opinión if that's what you want. Then she later said, you can always schedule an appointment again later if the problem happens again. Now why would I waste my time not once but twice with her? If you plan to see Mary Shipman be prepared to have some questions unanswered.
