Strickland Road Neighborhood Park

Great little neighborhood park with plenty of shade. They have a seperate area for little kids (2-5) as well as for bigger kids (5-12). There is also a nature trail.

Great park. 2-4 and 5-8 age appropriate play areas. The sandbox is large and "clean." They have swings for babies and big kids too. It has everything you'd expect. We've only explored a small part of the path around the lake.

Small neighborhood playground, with slides and swings. It has a toddler area for smaller aged children. It also has a sand box for kids to play in. Each time we've went, it wasn't crowded. Nicely kept and clean. Good for a visit if you are in the area.

We love this park - it's got some great elements that would make me choose it over alternatives. There are swings, a sand pit, slides, areas for different aged kids, a forest with ponds to explore, porta pottys, trash cans and plenty of seating for the adults. Beautiful playground :)

Love walking my dog on the little trails. All the little trails combined probably are only about 1 mile or less. 2 nice ponds. Quiet and never crowded.

My 2 year old loves this park, has slides, swings, sand box, and much more in the older kids area. Only wish they had nicer bathrooms. It's a portable potty.

Great little local park with plenty of trees for shade which is always welcome especially with little children. No kids, no problem!! There are several little walking trails through the woods, great for a little escape to connect with nature.

I often take my 3 year old to Strickland road park to run off energy. I love the park because it is shady, the equipment is in good working order and it's rarely busy. The landscaping is nice and there are plenty of trash cans and recycling bins, picnic tables and benches.
The only downside is that there is a port-a-potty and it is often pretty dirty.

I love taking my 4 year old here to burn off some energy. Another bonus the park is well shaded so the heat doesn’t bother you much.

Small and well kept clean park for children. Some small trails available for walking. Portapotty available to use also.

CAN anyone Confirm if there is good fishing for largemouth bass in pond or if there are in it also is a nice little area and a great community I heard
