Jaycee Park

I love playing volleyball at Jaycee Park. The sand is a little gravely but it works. The top 4 courts are sometimes rented by league but a quick call can help determine which court you should play on in the evenings. Courts 5 and 6 are usually up for grabs and there are sometimes grass courts setup on the other side of the playground.

There are also soccer fields which double down for flag football, bocce ball and ultimate Frisbee and baseball fields that double as kickball, softball and a place for your dogs to run!

Tennis courts and restrooms are available as well. Come and have some fun!

Small and quaint. FIVE sand volleyball courts there! They finally opened their BRAND NEW PLAYGROUND!!! It…is…awesome! SO cool! Has a spiderweb climbing feature, two fun modern swings, and a 3-story super tube twisty slide! 😮😮😁👍👍 Perfect place to bring your kids to!

Wow what a perfect park location! We pleasantly discovered a beautiful garden that lead to a wonderful trail! Perfect place to hike, connect with nature and center oneself❤

Sand volleyball courts are nice and there's usually a meet-up or just small private groups (NCSU volleyball). Good place to meet people and have fun

Great place to go for a walk by yourself, with family or friends. They have tennis and beach volleyball courts, dog park, and kids' playground with swings and really cool jungle gyms.

Awesome park! Beautiful Japanese garden, huge updates playground area, also a small old school one, sand volleyball courts, rec leagues, tennis courts, fields and a dog park. Loved it!

There for son's baseball game. They also have a great playground for the kids. Huge place and great to walk around.

A very nice and peaceful place to enjoy a walk or play Baseball and/or Volleyball. It has good parking space too. Recommend for a family or alone walk and relaxing time.

I hadn’t been to Jaycee in a while, but I’m loving the new playground they added! I also discovered the gorgeous lush green trails they have behind the community building.

The park is small but very clean, beautiful. There is a playground for kids and very nice place to have a rest for adults. There you can find interesting flowers and trees

Very nice dog park.

Nice park. They have a secret garden behind their main building. That is every time I have gone there no one else is there. Nice place to meditate. Small playground we used when the boys were young and we got up too late to go to Pullin Park. Many years ago they had good program for kids for school holidays and bad weather days. Not sure they do that anymore.

Wonderful place to play sand volleyball!

A nice little park to take the kids. We sometimes run around on the tennis court as well, which is well maintained. Also theres a nature trail there to thats fun to walk with the littles.

I play Tennis... when all other public courts in Raleigh, especially at Millbrook Exchange Park, the courts at Jaycee Park are a simple alternative... however, there are only 2 courts... volley ball courts next to the courts is not a problem... all activities of humans getting "fun exercise" is great for all the people at the park... careful have to wind up here...
Worst thing to me, about the Park, is access from Wade Avenue. I travel from Millbrook, towards the city on Capital Boulevard and then onto Wade Avenue... I am unsure about traveling "through the neighborhoods from Oberlin road,(especially after dark) so I turn off all distractions and hope for luck...
I have to speed up and loose the car behind me, then slow down and hope for a navigable opening across oncoming traffic. So far I have been safe.

The park is really nice for the children, lots of playing items. There is a big parking space, rest room is also nice. Two Tennis court is there. My children likes the place a lot. We will hang out again there.

Love the park w 3 baseball fields, tennis, kids playground and doggiepark. Although the dog park is small and little area to run location is perfect.

Plenty of sand for kids to run around barefoot. Several swing sets, a few things to climb and slide.
Dog park for pup lovers.
A really cool shaded garden area behind the building. Stroller/wheelchair accessible.
There were volleyball courts as well.

Went to the dog park here, and I really liked it. There's an appropriately-sized group of folks in attendance (not over crowded), and it's a good size for the dogs to run around or chase down a tennis ball (of which there are many in the park) or just to wander. Loved it!
