Garner Recreational Park

The trails are surprisingly quiet and topological interesting. Didn't see anyone else on the Sunday morning, which means you need to watch out for spider webs. Not paved so be careful. I was distracted while going downhill and slid and twisted my knee a little. We really like the place and will definitely come back.

Clean bathrooms, decent concessions and well-maintained fields. No grass on the infield and the clay surface is a bit gravelly and loose. They have a really great trail that takes about 20 to 25 minutes to walk.

We take our kids here for Garner Sports League baseball and tee ball. The park is very nice and the fields for playing ball are great.

Nice little dog park for unleashed dogs. Not as big as some of the other dog parks in Wake county, but very nice and well kept park.

Wonderful time at park. Party for my son and grandson.Great sheltered area, playground and grill. Enjoyed by all.

Decent playground and they have a little digger. Just be careful there are yellow jackets near the digger.

Great park. Very well-maintained, there are some trails to walk along in the woods that are completely secluded. If you’re in the Pokémon, they’re a bunch of poke stops along the way, they have a dog park a playground some ball fields and it’s just an overall nice place to be.

This is a great park! It has a nice playground and a solid dog park. The locals that bring their dogs typically are good about watching their dogs when loose in the dog park. In my visits I have seen a large variety of breeds, all seem welcome!

Can play on the playground 🅿🤸🤸‍♀🤸‍♂ and visit the puppies at the same time. Dog park 🐕never overcrowded👥👥 like Lake Benson and a couple of pup 🐕🐶🐾 exercises to boot. There is also a workout trail 👟👟🏃‍♀🏃‍♂💨at the bottom of the hill ⛰ but I just walk around the playground to keep an eye 👀 on the kids 👨‍👧‍👦

Great park to bring younger children ages 1.5-5. Never overly crowded. Not overrun by older children like some of the other parks in Garner where it can be difficult for younger children to play. Also great view of the dog park which my son loves to watch from the swings.

Very nice, humble park. There is a couple of baseball fields as well as a small playground that is fairly new. There are also some picnic tables in a shelter and walking trails in the woods that are very nice. I highly recommend this park as a place to enjoy an evening.

I love the forest trails and paths behind the ballpark and dog park. Everything was quiet and serene. A brook and twisting wild way makes it a nature lovers dream. Whether biking ,hiking or dog walking, it is a nice space of nature.

Great for the children and has a dog park directly across the street and a track in the woods nearby. A picnic shelter let's you reserve space for kids bday parties and has a lot of field space for tag and red light green light.

Three nice baseball fields and a dog park. They fix the parking so that there are more spaces. Clean restrooms. The fields are well lit for night games. Also a small kids playground near the entrance.

The facility is clean and well kept. A variety of activities are held there--for different ages (for example, dance fitness classes, Zumba, and baseball). I've been taking physical activity classes there for years, and I plan to continue them.
