I have no idea where to begin. This church offers a pantry that was such a blessing to those in need BUT this church is also very Racist!

I see so many of these fake reviews and as someone who has watched those in charge run the pantry for the church this last year I’ve seen nothing but the opposite of these reviews.

I don’t attend the church but considering but I can tell there has been a change of leadership in the last 6 months.

I have seen the Executive assistant pastor Hal mistreat several members of church verbally. He seems to specialize and enjoy emasculating others and using a condescending tone when talking to others.

You never see him actually correct those who break church rules just those who speak up! Which is weird.

This is the same man who suggested the elderly “just don’t come out so early” that asked if there was away for someone to come out earlier for the restrooms to be available for them.

I sat back and watched this individual (because I can’t refer to him as a man of the cloth) belittle his fellow members for speaking up when they caught people (pretty much stealing) breaking the church rules and taking advantage of the churches generosity get reprimanded. Not those who were technically stealing/taking advantage of donations.

Just last month this church caught a fellow member/volunteer working the pantry giving out extra food to their family and got caught but when I caught someone LYING to Mr executive assistant pastor Hal and spoke up (along w/3 others one of who is a member of the church) he chose to ignore us and allowed the individual to get away with pretty much cutting the line.

People come out and sit as long as 5-6 hours for this pantry and for the last 6 months it had been chaos. And I’m convinced Hal likes it. It’s a power trip for “Massah”.

The old pastor several months ago corrected this man and made him apologize to several of us for the very same thing.

But the funny thing is this weekend when several of us pointed out someone was not being truthful only those speaking up where reprimanded. Not the person jumping in front of 30 familles who waited hours for the churches help unlike them.

Executive pastor Hal decided to approach me and tell me he wasn’t pleased with my behavior (confronting the liar) and I told him the feeling was mutual!

I’ve watched this turn out for this pantry triple in the last 6 months with no attempt to adjust for the growth.

You’ve watched every month the chaos get worse and worse but when those of us offered our own time to help and volunteer, you declined. So the feeling is very mutual.

You ignore those of color who speak up in defense of the church and disregard voice ALWAYS allowing others to get away with wrong doing and we have to take it because if we don’t we don’t get any food! And the other pastor is gonna back him up always!

So……..

IF YOU’RE BLACK/AFRICAN AMERICAN/NATIVE INDIAN DON’T COME HERE!!!!!

NORTH HAVEN IS NOT FOR THE COMMUNITY!!!!

Executive pastor Hal is rude and racist!!!

He not about helping others just throwing his title around lol

The pastor before him was not someone who lacked integrity or morals. He actually knew how to communicate and made mr executive pastor apologize in the past for his inhumane and insensitive attitude and behavior towards others. Now that this ego I mean individual seems to be in charge it’s Plantation time “Best of luck to those of you who choose to attend ANYTHING North Haven related.

Because I was banned for speaking up for what was right and telling the person in charge they were wrong for not addressing the party that was misleading them& ignoring everyone who was trying to tell them the truth and only choosing to address those who spoke up is wrong & they know it but didn’t care!

MY GOD MADE ME TO SPEAK UP FOR WHAT’S RIGHT!

MY GOD MADE ME TO NEVER LAY DOWN AND JUST TAKE IT!

MY GOD MADE ME UNAFRAID TO SPEAK MY MIND AND TO STAND UP FOR WHAT’S RIGHT & I DON’T SCARE EASILY HAL.

I’ve seen everything from Executive pastor Hal Except what’s right!

Do better NHPC

All NC CHURCHES should be offering
Food pantrys
Rental assistance
Housing assistance
Community cleanups
Free Health care days

Mostly small churches do this I'm just wandering why all are not..
Especially since churches pay no state or federal tax ..

Please do more for the community as a whole
