Providence Church

We visited Providence Church when we were in Raleigh. They preach God’s word, and the gospel in a relatable and relevant way. How could you not give them five stars?
The congregation is friendly. The coffee is good. If you are looking for a place to find and understand who God is, and what his will for your life is, try Providence Church.

Great church! Good sermon and I would highly recommend. The pastor was a video livestream that streamed from another church but he was effective in his teaching and the staff was lovely. I would definitely attend again.

This church has helped my husband and I grow in our faith tenfold over the last several years. They invest so much in their members, anyone who walks through their doors, and even beyond in our city and our world. The pastoral staff are sincere, wise leaders with servant hearts. They preach straight from the Bible, with the core belief that all of God’s word is complete and true, and that Jesus is the way to salvation. Coming here is the highlight of our week!

Providence puts on so many different events throughout the week, which provides so many opportunities to stay connected and get involved. They even have a smaller Monday evening service with dinner if you can’t make it to one of the three Sunday morning services, which I personally love. It’s a relatively large church, but it’s diverse in ages, therefore you’ll never feel out of place, and the many life groups offered helps you get to know others in similar life stages (and different ones).

Needless to say, if you’re looking for a church in the Raleigh area, please give Providence a chance! We are so blessed to have discovered Providence and call it our church home.

Having reviewed several churches, I can say that this one has a special touch on its community. Great music selection, and I think Monday night service is underrated. My personal favorite time. Also, this church actually KNOWS what good coffee is for Sunday morning. I cannot tell you how many other places I've been on Sunday mornings where the coffee is just terrible....and I mean bad. These people actually invested into resources for legitimately great coffee for guests and members. Just a small note to mention.

The spiritual food, on the other hand, is also just delectable. Christians will get more theology and in-depth Bible study in Life groups, but each message already does pack a bunch of theology while still retaining practical steps for everyday living.

This is a place where it's not about Jesus + rules, but Jesus + nothing. Legalists beware....but come anyway and watch your mind get changed! 😅

I always feel so uplifted and close to the Lord when I am here. Such a great friendly congregation and the kids classes are great too.

Their is nothing like getting greeted by all the members of this wonderful church when you first walk in to the service. We have found our church family here and as a single mom I feel like I have found a place that I belong. The Providence community is amazing. Thank you for all you all do!!

If you are looking for a church to change your life, this is the church for you. I can't put into words how much I love this church and how happy and honored I am to serve it. Walking into the sanctuary doors on Sunday morning makes me feel right at home. It's where my family is suppose to be. Everyone here is friendly, accommodating, and lovers of Christ. The pastors that I have seen all have accepted their calling to preach and will touch your heart in a way that you didn't know you even needed. I actually feel sad leaving. I am so happy this church came into our lives.

Love going to Providence Baptist Church the Lifetime classes are outstanding and the people are so friendly and the service is amazing too and the people loved the way I dress dapper too and holding the doors for people too!

It has been 7-8 years since we have been to this church because we had moved to another location. But traveled back here this Sunday & received a good word! I am truly thankful for Jesus Christ my Lord. & the pastor delivered a fantastic message on the “Holy Spirit” and walking in the Spirit. Wonderful service here and Bible teaching! Me and my family have been looking for a church that is all in the Bible! 😊💛 Great teaching! We will be back next Sunday! 🙏🏾

Hello. My wife and I attended your church with our daughter and her room mate and what an awesome experience. It has been a long time since I walked out of a church service feeling so good. Our home church is so mundane that I have not gone in while. I now have a goal to locate a church similar to yours on long Island. Thank you again. Looking forward to coming back when we visit our daughter again.

I cannot tell you what this church has done to my life. It has made my life better and I am now a happier person. I look forward to every Sunday service and it has extended to my weekdays. God is now in my daily life. I will not miss a Sunday service unless I'm out of town. This church helps me feel good.

The people here are kind and validating. But still succumbs to being an "american church". Believe me you need to try a few.

It was my 1st visit and I enjoyed the service. They gave me a lot of nice gifts in my Visitors Gift Bag. The church is very nice and spacious. I will go back to visit again. I like the fact no one was pressuring me to join. They give you all the information and you can take it from there. I don't like it when churches do that or act like the visitor doesn't know God they give you options and I like that No pressure and thats the way church should be. I hope they understand I will take my time to see if I fit in because that is so important.

I've been going here all my life. The pastor is honest and entertaining to listen to. The new renovations have made the worship center even larger than before! The congregation is very welcoming.

If you are looking for a country club, this is NOT the place for you. This true body of Christ is filled with real people who are ready to roll up their sleeves and get dirty serving others in Jesus' name. In my 6 weeks of attendance I have found the preaching to be spot on the Word of God, with Pastors who obviously love their Lord and are not afraid to preach Truth. There is a place for everyone here, young, old, single, married, infant, newly interested in God, to lifetime followers, you will be supported as you learn and grow with this large loving family.

A God honoring, missions minded church with incredible hospitality. A true representation of Christ's love and teachings! Highly recommend it.

I'm honestly not a church person for a host of reasons but the church was presented to me as a child, so I only feel it's right to do the same for my child. She can make a choice when she's an adult. Super friendly, positive messaging and will always give you a reason to come back.

I came to visit this Church for Easter. A friend was being baptized so I came to support her. Everyone was awesome from the greeter in the parking lot to the folks that followed up after service. This church is very close to where I live now compared to my home church so I may visit here again.
