SpringHill Suites by Marriott Wilmington Mayfaire

We stayed here for an overnight trip to Wilmington and we were very happy with everything. The drive to & from downtown was not bad at all. There was plenty of room for the three of us. Plenty of towels too! We were very impressed with the breakfast — especially loved the home fries and the mini scones! We would definitely stay here again!

My partner and I stayed here for two weeks on vacation. The hotel is beautiful and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in two different rooms during our two weeks and both rooms were excellent, very clean and comfortable. Food buffet had lots of variety and the hotel location is great, within walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping centres and almost everywhere we went, including the beach and downtown was less than a 15 minute drive. Very convenient, clean and amazing service!

This hotel was a great choice for me due to its location, but where I truly fell in love was with the staff. I had a stay booked for 2 weeks with a break in the middle for a short road trip to New York and the staff made the transition from our first room to the second seamless. Every interaction we had with the staff, namely Mario, Steve, Pam, Gage, and Debbie was amazing! They were super friendly and loved to talk to myself and my girlfriend about what we were doing and if we had a good time when we came back at night. This hotel knows how to do it right.

The number 1 thing I care about with a hotel is that it is clean. I do not know when this facility opened but it feels new and looks clean. The rooms are clean and bathrooms in the room are clean. The front desk staff answers the “chat with us” function directly. They answered my questions quickly, and they were very kind and knowledgeable when I asked the additional questions, once I was in the hotel.
I am a very picky traveler. I would not write a bad review however when I feel the product and the service is worthy I will take my time, like this, to compliment, especially the folks who work here.

We recently hosted a Wedding in Wilmington, and this was our main hotel for everyone to stay. It was perfect, and we absolutely loved working closely with Lane!

Her attention to detail, amazing accommodations, and always willing to be an advice giver were everything we needed to ensure our guests were comfortable!

We would highly recommend the SpringHill Suites as a place to stay for any wedding guest or simply on your next adventure!

Located on a main strip. Close to many dining options, including a sushi and Mexican restaurant next door. The hotel is clean and the staff is attentive. The bar serves good drinks. I had a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful time! The property is very well maintained and modern, the staff was help and accommodating and the location is perfect (close by other businesses while not being in the middle of everything).

We have visited a lot of hotels and this hotel by far was the best. Customer service was amazing. Kyle checked us in and my son who never comments about anything says make sure to give him a great review. Every staff member we encountered was very kind and courteous. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The beds slept so good. The bartender on Saturday night let’s just say he is a Margarita expert. Blended the ingredients perfectly, no over powering of one ingredient over the other. This was one of the best weekend getaways I have had in years.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We stayed three nights to celebrate two family birthdays and every need was met, every staff member was cheerful, friendly and helpful, and to top it off, the breakfast was delightful each day. It is so nice to walk off the elevator early in the morning and see an array of coffee choices just waiting to get your day started...good coffee, a selection of teas and lots of hazelnut creamer (my personal favorite)! The General Manager, Steve Varieur, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in every possible way. He has a great relationship with his staff which makes all aspects of a visit work well. Our rooms were perfect - clean and quiet with nice linens and extra pillows to prop up with while reading. This is the place to stay in Wilmington. Mayfaire is across the street so shopping is easily accessible if needed and it is a short hop to ILM. This is my goto place whenever I visit from here on! Thank you Steve and Company for making our birthday extravaganza just that little bit more perfect!

This is a really nice facility. I didn't go there to stay. I was there doing inspections for some renovations but I would certainly recommend it for anyone coming into town.

I had to stay one night for work. Very close to my job, within walking distance. I did not require any assistance during my stay. Room was clean and stocked with all necessities. I was also able to download BonVoy app and use digital key to get in my room which was very nice. Pleased with stay, would recommend to anyone in the area.

This is a very clean, new hotel with friendly staff. Housekeeping even came back to clean our room after they’d already moved on and I asked them in the hallway. This is nearby to many restaurants most importantly a CFA across the street. Also 5 mins from Wrightsville Beach.

I travel often for business and this hotel stood out! Steven and Pam at the front desk were so helpful and friendly! The rooms were clean, quiet, and the location was perfect! Close to restaurants, shopping, highways and beach. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Wilmington.

We stayed for the 4th of July- checked in on a Monday on a whim and stayed till Wednesday. The whole place is super clean- our room was great. Staff was friendly. The proximity to Wrightsville Beach is about as good as it can get, especially for the price. But you're also just one right turn to downtown. Plenty of eateries around, including Boombalatis- which is amazing local ice-cream. The mushroom water feature in the pool and the large shallow area was a literal dream come true for my 4 year old. They actually have the exterior doors locked, requiring a key for entry at night, which I appreciated as someone traveling alone with my young child.
My ONLY complaint was the lack of waffle maker with the included breakfast- which I can hardly even type, because on the 2nd day of our stay there were waffles on the buffet, just premade.

I meant to write this last week, but I forgot. My parents and myself were looking for a last minute hotel in Wilmington last weekend….on a Saturday. Everywhere decent was $200+! Super long story short, my mother and I were very indecisive and went back and forth from this hotel three times before deciding to stay. At one point, we got as far as almost swiping our card for our rooms! We worked with Brandon each time. He was incredibly professional and accommodating and didn’t get upset at all when we kept changing our minds. There is no way that I could’ve done that! He understood and was very patient. With all the pricing being so high, the reason that we chose to stay here was because of our experience with Brandon! He is just awesome! We had a great experience!

Our stay was great! Only a single night but was well worth it! The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, very hot and fresh food. Jersey was a wonderful staff member assisting us during the morning. Helpful and very nice, would definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance.

My family and I came to the beach last minute and had no where to stay so we ended up finding this place! Good price for one night and we were a family of 10! Breakfast was great!

Had a long workday and check in went just fine. My room was cleaned without me even asking. That was a surprise, they even made my bed for me :) Also this place is in a nice location, it has a Starbucks nearby as well as restaurants and a few shops.

The room was clean, smelt nice and wonderfully decorated. There were a few dings on the wall but no big deal :)

Our stay was perfect! Friendly staff snd the hotel was very clean!! Dave and Pam at the front desk quickly accommodated us after we had canceled our week long reservation at a nearby Hilton. I would tell anyone visiting Wilmington, NC to go here first.
