Waterway Lodge by Sea Scape Properties

A little humid indoors at first (hey, North Carolina), but really clean and everything one needs for a night's stay. "Beach feel" decor, but not overdone. Pleasant environment. Instructions from owner were clear and there wasn't an overwhelming checkout list. It was a studio space but still had plenty of room and the couch folds out to a bed so there's sleeping for 4. There's a desk, wifi, television, and kitchen with mini but working fridge & stove. Also has microwave. This is perfect for someone who is working remotely but wants to be near restaurants, beach, & shopping. Also has mood lighting if you're looking for a romantic get-away. 😉 Didn't grab any photos but the ones on air bnb are accurate.

The room was beautiful. It looked like it was recently renovated. The bed and futon were very comfortable. Walking distance to several nice restaurants on the water. Check-in and out was convenient with the keyless entry.

I loved our room. It was incredible how the space was designed to meet all your needs. Being able to walk to restaurants was a definite plus. It was easy to get to the beach just about a mile away. Oh, and you could see the waterway out the window, great view.

Really enjoyed going back to Waterway. This is our favorite place to stay at Wrightsville Beach.
Convenient with Great Food to eat just behind the Motel are 2 cafes to eat inside or side by the water & eat under umbrellas & relax. Great service her at this motel with updated furniture & surroundings & service. Will be headed back there again next year!!

I've stayed at the Waterway Lodge 4 times. Each unit is separately owned and it's fun to see how each owner decorates differently. The front desk staff is nice and check in is easy. The pool is nice for a quick dip. There are restaurants on the same road and across the bridge. It's a relaxing ~20 minute walk to the ocean. I will definitely be back this fall with my dog!

Location is great. Room was great. Perfect size room, bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was perfect, well stocked & the room was very clean for my wife & I. The clerk was friendly & very helpful. We will be back in about 3 months or sooner.

We love this spot! It's a hidden treasure in Wrightsville Beach. The condo's are renovated, clean and very safe! The location is amazing (close to restaurants, bars -- literally anything you need) and the staff is fantastic! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. And, some condos are pet-friendly -- a huge bonus because most places on Wrightsville Beach are not. The perfect place!

Stayed in rm 113. Ok. It's not a 5 star room. We used to stay at Station 1. That's 5 stars, expect to pay for it too. But in all fairness let's base the rating on location, price, convenience, amenities, cleanliness, security, staff. The room has a complete kitchen with everything you need . Fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher. Pots pans dishes silverware. No toaster. Kitchen table, couch 2 tv's with cable. King bed. I've got a bad back. Only a adjustable bed comforts me. The bed was clean, fresh sheets. There are pillows and a comforter. It's not the worst bed I've ever slept in. Bathroom was clean. NO carpets! I hate carpets. The floors were clean. Being a pet friendly condo, I happy that there were no carpets, no pet smells, no appearance of pet damage or pee or poop. Staff. 5 stars.shelly gave me her personal cell and had my cable TV up and running in minutes. Location, for the price, it's a 20 min walk on sidewalks to the beach. Marina is 30sec away. Lots of things to do locally. Reviews of busy noisey rd? It's the beach. There's always a lot of traffic. Add the drawer bridge right there, it can get backed up. Noisey? Not really, unless your door is open. But you rented a condo at the beach. What did you expect? Privacy? Expect crowds. Sure, bring a can of air freshener, Cleaning supplies, Heat and AC work fine. Is this place prefect? Of cause not. Your spending your hard earned money on this get away. Don't let little things ruin the experience. Security, the door locks automatically bring your card with you. Anybody that wants to steal your stuff is not gonna be stopped by a lock. Leave your valuables at home. The area is safe. But don't make yourself a target. So if you want a hi end 5 star condo, this is not it. If your looking for a safe, clean, affordable, convenient rental with a functioning kitchen. This is a good place. I still give it 5 stars for for what it is. If you can limit yourself to 1 car. Parking is not a problem. But in the summer it can be.

My wife is clean freak. place was really clean. Bed really good but u cant please everyone I slept great. Cllose to great resturants. Puts u basck in npistaslgic 50s but still great. Bring u some extra towels and paper products. no room service but we keep our stuff clean do no problem. Great access to beach. get to beach before 830 to get good parking place. city charges everyone 250 hour for parking but ok after u figure out process. go to machine and pay put ticket on dash. you can pay by phone at meters. would stay here again. Not Hilton but great for price. lot of nice cars in parking lot so that should tell u something.

Great place to stay! Nice rooms, and very close to a lot of great restaurants! Minutes from the beach as well. Will definitely be staying again sometime soon.

Awesome experience, Room 115 was very clean, water was hot and pool was great! The staff were very pleasant when booking. Prices are very affordable for the area also..Will be visiting again, Thank you.

The staff is honest and accommodating. Great prices and great rooms. Recommend to anyone looking for a beach getaway with quality but not overpriced.

Great location,walk to many restaurants and bars. Clean nice pool, kids had a blast. Very friendly mangement. Rooms are clean!

Great place and best location. Look out over the intracoastal waterway and drawbridge, walk to the best restaurants in Wville Beach, take a dip in the kidney shaped pool, etc
This is all wrapped up in a nostalgic motel package that sort throws you back into the 50's. Pet friendly, too.

I love this place!

Known as the gay hotel this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at my wife and her girlfriend were very happy most of the staff are gay and it was a real good time for them as for me i spent my time on my boat which was another big + next door is the bridge tender where you can park your boat i must say i will be going there everytime i visit wilmington ...... 2 thumbs up

Great property manager on site what's you to enjoy your stay. Each condo is uniquely owned and decorated.

Convenient location to restaurants and bars, also walking/biking distance to the intracoastal waterway and beach. Cute airbnb's and it has a pool.

Right on the Waterway, not far from the beach!! Relaxing pool access!! Close to many restaurants!!
