Hampton Inn & Suites Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach-Landfall Park

Our experience was great, a 4 night stay on business. Loved the location, staff was friendly, and enjoyed working out on the Peloton. The only thing I had a problem with was that lighting in the room was challenging, not much natural light, and the lamps weren't very bright, in my opinion. Also, I would have liked a make-up mirror in the bathroom. Most hotels I stay at have them. These two things were not that big of a deal, though. Loved the fridge and microwave in the room!

We hosted a small 2-day convention with about 35 people here in Feb 2024. Can’t speak highly enough about our experience. The AGM took great care of us, from room setup to food service. Hotel was remodeled less than 2 years ago. Rooms are in great shape, breakfast was sufficient, and amenities like pool are perfect. They even do movies on patio in the summer and have a tiki bar. One of only a few Hamptons in the US with a bar and they even serve local craft beers. Location just two miles from beach. And lots of opportunities for walking in the area.

The staff were lovely, the grounds were beautiful, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was also delicious and the coffee was unending and fresh! What more could you ask for on vacation?

I had a great breakfast on Thursday morning, Andrew was such a delight and so helpful with my requests. It was simply the best breakfast I've encountered at a Hampton, thank you Andrew and the breakfast staff for making sure it was just perfect. They are so lucky to have you.

I love this place! I decided to treat myself to a weekend beach getaway and wanted to stay somewhere close to the beach and close to the spa I planned to visit. This place was perfect! I decided to book a suite instead of a standard room and I'm glad I did. The suite exceeded my expectations! I was very pleased with the layout and spaciousness of it. The suite was very clean in all areas. I love the walk-in shower, the sink area between the bedroom and the bathroom, the kitchen, and the living room. It really felt like home and I enjoyed having a nice place to come to at the end of each day and relax. The customer service was great and the location is excellent! Close to the beach, close to the spa, and close to many good restaurants. All of the employees that I encountered were friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was nice and the breakfast attendants were nice and accommodating as well, especially the lady who was there on Saturday morning. I could not have asked for a better stay and I will definitely stay here again if/when I'm ever in the area again.

Awesome experience ! The property is beautiful, well maintained and surprisingly quite, considering it's close proximity to restaurants, stores and the beach. The room is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fresh and Deborah makes sure there is plenty of it. She stopped at each table with a smile and asked if we needed anything. The staff is really the best part. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. I wish I could give the maintenance staff a 10 !! Alison is fantastic ! She is super friendly and continually checks in and asks about my stay. She pays attention to even small details, like having towels brought to the pool on this warm February day for those of us brave enough to take a dip. Before I had gone to the pool, I had just been talking with the man who brought me the towel, Jeff I think. Very personable. I continually saw Alison and Keith arranging, fixing, running all over. Both of them always smiling and asking if I was enjoying my stay and asking if I needed anything. Definitely will stay again !

We had an excellent experience at this hotel! We made our reservation same day so we took the room they had available for our family of 4. It was a king size with a foldout couch. It turned out to be a suite with a separate bedroom and kitchen (fridge w/freezer, sink, 2 eye stove, large sink and dishwasher). The kids slept extremely well and enjoyed having their own tv for a quick morning show.

The customer service at the front desk was excellent, helpful and cheerfully responsive to requests. The common areas (reception, bar, breakfast area, patio and pool) are spacious and nicely appointed. The guest laundry facilities (2 washers and 2 dryers) were just what we needed. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with many options for gra- and-go or hot, sit-down breakfast and enough variety to meet any dietary needs.

Overall, the cleanliness was excellent however, the corners in the bathroom seemed to be skipped (I found a stray hair or two, dust and a few cupcake sprinkles (?). Other easily missed areas were clearly well cleaned so this seemed like a one-off. Additionally, the washers in the guest laundry facilities need to be deep cleaned and left open to avoid mildew. However, our clothes came out smelling clean.

We would certainly stay here again. Thank you!

This place is the best place to stay when visiting the beach!! I can't say about it enough about it. Safe. Clean. Cozy. Great hot breakfast. Short walk to shore, or drive. We will never book a hotel anywhere else when going to the beach. Staff is great. Towels and clean. Rooms are so nice! The hotel is beautiful. The pool is awesome! We will be back year round!

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Wilmington/Wrightsville in July. We were just there for a night before dropping our daughter off at camp. Check-in and check-out were so easy and the rooms are very clean and well-appointed. And breakfast was great! But the staff! They're AMAZING. I was having a technical issue with the internet. Olynthia spent about 15 minutes helping me, then circled back to make sure I was OK. Great place!

It was a great hotel experience. The hotel was extremely clean. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Even though our room was right by the elevator... It was still quiet. A plus was some of the rooms had a fireplace which ours did Very family friendly.

It was a lovely setting, rather cozy style to the whole place. The room was not large, but was perfectly sized for a couple! The bed was very comfy and the walk in shower was spot-on for size. Breakfast was served up with a smile and everything was fresh and tasty. Shout out to Kristen and Hailey who were at the desk when we checked in. Very friendly and professional! They had very good answers for our "tourist" questions! Overall a very great stay!

Great Hotel within 2 miles of Wrightsville Beach. It is not within walking distance in my opinion, but it is an easy drive. The rooms were nice, the hotel was clean and all the staff were friendly. The suites are big rooms with lots of space to move around. It was awesome to get up grab some coffee in the lobby, take the short drive to the beach for the sunrise, when the beach is not crowded and the parking is free on the beach until 9am. There were tons of places to park at the time and it was quiet and beautiful. 🌅😊

Love this place. the entire staff was amazing. Ms Deborah was an earth angel during breakfast time.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. We dealt with very noisy neighbors our first night - I don't blame the hotel. We notified the front desk after breakfast the next morning, and they were happy to move us to a different room/floor. Once that happened, we couldn't ask for much else. Complimentary breakfast was eggs, bacon, waffles, toast, bagels, etc. the first day, and turkey sausage rather than bacon + hashbrowns the next. Hashbrowns were cold and soggy. Not spectacular or anything, but good enough. Would return if we're in the area again!

Hilton's are great hotels. The staff is always courteous, accomodations are plentiful and the rooms are clean. The Wilmington location is no exception, really liked the staff I interacted with and the grounds are beautiful. Also, incredibly convenient, 5 minutes from everything it felt like.

My husband and I had an amazing time here. The room was clean and perfect for the two of us, we loved the outdoor smoking area, and the bartender Corey was amazing! What an amazing stay :)

We stayed 6/1-6/4. Our room was extremely clean as well as the entire property. The staff was kind and gracious. Within walking distance to the beach but with a 7 year old, I opted to drive and just park. The pool was clean and refreshing. We would absolutely stay here again. Breakfast was included and was actually good. Definitely a great value.

The hotel was really clean and reasonably priced. It was a great alternative option as the other hotels in the area that were oceanfront were all booked up. Be aware that the hotel is pet friendly but people are sometimes placed in non-pet rooms with their animals. The 12 week old puppy next door to us barked constantly but the management was very kind and did their best to reach the owners to ensure the entire floor slept at night. The noise from the dog was not the hotels fault. Pet owners should not leave their animals unattended for long periods of time. The staff handled the issue in a prompt and understanding manner.

I've been in a lot of hotels since I'm in the AF Reserves, and this hotel has to be the best one I've ever stayed at. It's so clean and the people are so nice. You will feel accepted and comfortable!
