A great experience with this company and its owner. They have some fabulous items from which to choose, and some great prices. I bought a few things that I absolutely love from my new home. I can’t recommend the shop steel roots more and the owner is particularly well informed about her stock and interior design in general. Christy is an amazing designer, and offers full design service - catering to Your taste- not trying to fit you into what she thinks your taste should be. Christy truly cares about each customer she works with and takes great stride to make them happy with their purchases.
Why go to Highpoint when you can purchase it all locally? And her prices are beyond competitive. Truly a Godsend - I cant say enough about this business.

I feel so fortunate to have 'discovered' Steel Roots Home Decor and designer, Christy. The shop has wonderful home decor and is always fun to go in there to shop, to get ideas and to talk with Christy about those ideas. I have also used Christy to provide design and decorating expertise ...and that has been invaluable. She is so talented and has such a good eye for what looks good together, what colors will warm up a room, what fabric will pop on a pillow....and her honesty about what not to do! I have so appreciated her help and her insights. She has been so generous with her time and so helpful in recommending local painters, artisans, furniture designers, etc. I have lots more to do...and will be excited to continue working with Christy.

I have used Simply O Interiors on a variety of projects from simple paint selections to full room makeovers. Christy has an eye for color and has a unique ability to work simple, less expensive items in with more expensive pieces to give the room an overall high end feel. She is excellent with accessorizing to change the feel of the room without breaking the bank. I have worked with Christy on very small scale projects, to large makeovers and have never been disappointed. She has excellent trade connections and has always been able to find furniture and accessories at prices that I could not get on my own. Her design services are extremely well priced and I assure you, you will not be disappointed with the end result. The time and money I saved was well worth her design fee. Steel Roots had in stock the LIGHTLi tapers I had been searching for - and their customer service was as good as it gets! When I could not get my remote to work with the candles, Christie went above and beyond by sending me specific instructions to solve my issue. I highly recommend Steel Roots!

I highly recommend Christy. She is a real pleasure to work with. She has vast experience in different styles of design and came up with so many beautiful ideas for our rooms. We are thrilled with our finished spaces and thank her for our awesome looking rooms. She also worked within our budget going out of her way to find accent pieces that worked without going over budget. We recently had a shiplap project completed through Tony from Peacock Woodworks who Christy recommended and she helped us decide on the herringbone pattern facing up as well as the color. I can't say enough good things about her and her business. She goes above and beyond for her customers and truly cares about high quality and staying in your budget.

My wife and I traveled more then 750 miles each to purchase two chest which were impossible to find as a pair. While there we picked up a sideboard as well. Very nice store, great communication and great staff.
