We really enjoyed these trails! The trails are easy to walk and have plant/tree identification placards. You do share the trails with bicyclers so be prepared to move off the trail, sometimes abruptly for the bikers that don't announce themselves. There is plenty of parking and there are restrooms. Dogs are allowed.

Great hiking and mountain biking. Beautiful scenery with easy access. You also have lake access here for launching kayaks and canoes. You can even take a little dip if you want. They have also installed a bike wash station which is very nice. There our bathrooms here but they're very primitive. Total distance and trails is about 14 or 15 miles. And don't forget rabbit ridge it's down the trail and is not on the map yet. Update on the bike wash station. It appears that the hose no longer works. There's been a new little trail added here. It's located on the rap b ridgeside and we're calling it the grape candy cane. It's some cool Little Rock gardens. Another update on the bike wash station the hose now works. You can also find a set of limited tools here. And when you're there in the winter you can see out of top point. They also have a bike wash station but currently the water is turned off.

We really enjoyed the Jack Rabbit Trail, a well-marked hike that loops with views of Lake Chatuge with additional side hikes. The trails are well-marked throughout, and the trail is shared between hikers and bikers. We did the 3.1-mile Central Loop (white) and the trail was pretty easy, with a good balance of inclines and downhills. The trail is shaded by trees and I appreciated the labels parsed throughout the hike identifying some of the trees, flowers, and plants.

Amazing trails. All levels available between the two sides. Beautiful woods, mushrooms, leaves, ground over and moss. Everything was well marked except I had a little trouble on trail 9 figuring out an intersection as a first time rider here. I used The mountain bike project app to figure out where I was located. Hiawasse is a gem of an area. Love all the flow here!

Wonderful hiking trails! Hiked 5 miles our first trip out. So much to see. Very beautiful! There are markers along the main trail that describe the various trees and plants. Quite interesting. We will definitely be going back many times. Well maintained and clean. The bike riders are very considerate.

Pastor Jason from Cowee Baptist Church recommended this trail to us while we were visiting NC. Just awesome! Nice flowing bike trails with a great balance of short climbs and long downhills. Rode the central loop counter clockwise, green, blue, and yellow trails. Lots of fun!

Absolutely one of the best moderate trails I've been on. Easy to find, plenty of parking and most importantly... bathrooms!

We really enjoyed this trail. The white trail is an easy 3 mile loop which follows the shoreline for at least half of the time. We enjoyed seeing a variety of vegetation and appreciated the labels telling us about different trees and plants.
The trails are very well marked with maps at each junction. I would love to come back with bikes!

Well maintained mountain bike trails with many loop options. It is flat and clay with a few rocks and roots but not many. I hiked this trail which was also enjoyable. If I were to ride it it would be very fast but not challenging. My kind of trail!

Great spot for biking. If you are taking your dogs I will suggest to use the other trail by the recreational area, closer to the boat ramp. Bikes and dogs can be problematic. There are long and short trails. Picnic tables and the lake.

Our new favorite mountain bike trail! The trail designers are true artists. The path is clear and perfectly manicured. I would recommend trying every single path on the map. Each one is unique and offers new views.

Awesome trail system. Great signage. The flow is amazing and there are many opportunities to catch some air :) The parking lot is gravel and well maintained. There is a MTB tool station and a hose-off station as well.

Great trail. Barely muddy after many days of rain. Great elevation change for a hike, but not too strenuous. Great views of the lake during the winter season.
