Quiet and calm place...all utilities are included and the service of the manager is excellent!!! Bathrooms are combination coded and are very clean and well stocked. The manager is only a phone call or a text away. Perfect place for a relax stop!!

Great park with full hookups. If you are traveling north/south this is a great easy spot to stop. We got a reservation at 5:00pm on a Saturday night. A definite stop for race fans as the campground is nestled in part of the old Augusta international speedway- great hike around the 3 mile road course.
Update: spots 2-9 are not level and you will likely need a good amount of leveling. 10-25 are very level. They have showers but you need a code so we couldn’t get in.

It was amazing! Spent two weeks there and had a very relaxing time. The rainy nights kept me from hanging out by the fire, but that’s ok. The sounds of the frogs and crickets were a great substitute.

Richmond County Deputy’s do regular patrols around the area, so I felt very safe being there by myself. The lots are spaced kinda far apart, and there are privacy trees between quite a few of them. I’m referring to the back loop, Not so much the front loop. That one is very open.

There’s fishing, tent areas, full hookups, and a nice bathhouse. It’s located at a regional park with softball fields, basketball courts, pavilions, walking/biking trails, a library and a recreation center.

Keep in mind that it’s still in the city, so there’s the occasional fire truck that zooms by. But besides that, there’s so much stuff nearby also... convenient stores, grocery stores, auto shops, restaurants, and my absolute favorite laundromat! All right up the street at the main intersection! I enjoyed that the most. It’s a great campground location if you’re just starting out, and aren’t used to be in the middle of nowhere yet, like me.

I enjoyed my stay, but will not be returning to LOT #17. It’s terribly uneven. It took way too much work just to level my camper, and emptying my tanks were a real pain in the... back. Never again. The rest of the lots are way better than the one I had. Just remember that.

Nice clean small park with FHU sites. Spent 1 night on site 3. Was able to keep truck hooked up to 5th wheel on site. Did need board on passenger side to level unit.

Spot #19 is right at the water and a great location. Only issue is the very LOUD music played at the park until about 7pm Friday & Saturday

Nice, quiet place. Full hookups all the way to primitive tents. Very affordable. Everything is done online. Never have to see anyone. 3 Lilly covered large ponds full of bass and crappie.

This place was beautiful! Spacious sites with nice trees between them, large (although mostly unused by the looks of them) fire pits at every site, quiet and overall a great place to stay! We were surprised by the large diameter of the septic hookup (maybe a Georgia thing?) And the 30 amp hookup was on the opposite side so we had to use an extension cord, but if you use 50 amp, it's on the normal side.

We would absolutely come stay again for only $30 a night with full hookups!

This campground has beautiful scenic walking trails that are majestic. There are fishing ponds and beautiful tall trees that appear to touch the sky. While on vacation with my siblings in Georgia we walked the trails every morning and it felt like I was in Gods country with those gorgeous scenes. It was so therapeutic for me each morning during our walks I can understand why my brother has chosen this space to walk every morning.

I stayed at this location for month. Highly recommend this site it is hidden gem. No check in process just pull in and hook up and enjoy. No host onsite to ask questions or to bug you. Showers are in the public restrooms and have nice hot water. Ada accessable showers and parking. Paved sites with plenty of room between each site of only 26. Regional Park at first made me nervous about security but local sheriff's hang out alot in this area. So set my mind at ease and had no problems with theft of stuff outside camper. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

I love this campground. It is near Ft. Gordon. Many of the campsites are along the lake. Full hookups and the sites are well spaced. It is quiet and well maintained. It is also near grocery stores and shopping.
