OBGYN Associates of St. Augustine

First time visiting. The one who walked me in was friendly, gave practical advice that OBGYN exams are done year to year from the date the first exam got done, and guided me to another plan that related as to why I was at this practice. The APRN, CNM called Mrs. Susan did the exam and spoke on another issue as to why I was there. She aided me to make logical formed decisions.

I saw Dr. Asher alongside the NP's for continual pelvic pain, painful periods and I had a great experience with the NP's. I also had additional symptoms such as pain while peeing, mid to low back pain, shooting pain down my thighs, lots of others you get the picture (I'm 23 years old definitely not typical for this young or ever). The NP's really took my pain seriously and wanted to get to the bottom of it, so they scheduled ultrasounds and follow ups with Dr. Asher. To condense a really long story, Dr. Asher dismissed my pain, diagnosed a potential endometrioma as a hemorrhagic cyst, and told me it was impossible I could have endometriosis due to not having severe pain until my adult life. She sent me away with no pain management plan except for Advil and physical therapy. Thank goodness I went to an endometriosis specialist in Jacksonville! I had a laparoscopic surgery and was diagnosed with Stage 3 endometriosis and that same cyst she deemed as non problematic was in fact an endometrioma. My endo has been excised and I feel incredible now. I have no idea how their treatment is here for pregnancy. However, I would steer clear if you have pelvic pain.
