If you’re looking for something to do, take a scenic drive and go to Maybelle’s. What a great spot! This is a hidden gem surrounded by all the scenic views, amazing food and so many cute things from local artists. Highly recommend the Celt Road Melt or any of their sandwiches!

When our vehicle unexpectedly broke down at Maybelle’s Market, the staff was very accommodating and helpful. We were able to use their landline to make some calls and they allowed our large family to sit outdoors for several hours while we waited for a tow truck to come. Delicious food, friendly staff, & clean restrooms. Can’t ask for more than that! Thank you!

Surprisingly impressive for a gas station country store! I had an excellent BLT sandwich that surpassed my expectations. The overall ambiance of the place added to the charm. The welcoming atmosphere ensures I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu. Thanks so much!

This market is so cute! We stayed in the area so we could hike in Shenandoah National Park for a few days. Maybelle's turned out to be a staple to our daily snack and lunch options. Delish food, great aesthetic and super friendly staff!

Fantastic addition to the community! Not only is it nice to have a gas station/convenience store in Dyke, the deli makes it worth the drive from anywhere in the area. Folks are now driving 20+ minutes to eat at Maybelle's as opposed to driving into Ruckersville or Charlottesville. They have rotating specials (e.g. chicken and dumplings, fish, tacos, reubens, etc.), plus a standard sandwich, pizza, and fried chicken menu. My favorite from our visit was the Celt Road Melt. I believe they have started delivery on certain days around lunch time and could see this sandwich becoming a weekly treat. Looking forward to trying more of the menu!

Fair price on beer. The ice cream was tasty. Peach pie was the best and super good. The selection of snacks and the long list of dinner items was unique. We only were there for snacks and ice cream. Will return!

A nice country store style shop & gas station. Clean & smells good. Very clean rest rooms. Has home country style hot food & sandwiches. Has gas & diesel. Big parking lot. Has events with the locals, like old classic cars, A very nice place. The ladies behind the counter were very nice & helpful. Yes somethings are pricey, but its the sign of the times.

The perfect pit stop for coffee (good coffee) , snacks, gas or even season decor. I love this place before our after an MTB ride at Blue Ridge School around the corner

Got the Evergreen club and it did not disappoint! The rest of the menu was pretty basic offering deli classics, breakfast sandwiches and burgers salads etc..
The store is clean and modern and offers a lot of good beer, local goods, and snacks.
Great spot to stop in and take a break!

Our travel soccer team plays at the field down the road, so we frequent Maybelle's for ice cream and sometimes a meal after games. The ice cream is delicious, as is the fried chicken and the side dishes. Most recently, a teammate got the fried pickles so I ordered some, too. I ate the whole box...most of them before I got back to the house. I also love the country store...lots of local products, honey and jellies/jams. Check it out!

Something about a place run by the owners. Where the server is the mom of girl the restaurant is named for. Great personal service. Real skin fries and excellent sandwiches. This is our new halfway spot coming from Charlottesville to meet my daughter from DC.

Visiting from out of town and looking for some decent coffee. We were very pleasantly surprised to get delicious lattes! The prices were great. We also snagged some local granola. This place has super cute gifts. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.

The area is lucky to have such a great store in a remote location. The food and service is great! Everything is clean and the owner is always coming up with creative ideas to give back to the community. A+

I live nearby and am grateful to have both a gas station and deli of this caliber close. There’s nothing like it in Dyke and food is a 20-30 minute drive in any given direction otherwise. It’s a life saver if you need a quick and tasty lunch or a kitchen staple (or a bottle of the local wine). Their sandwiches have cured many, many, hangovers (and/or are a great base before you hit the wineries). I appreciate how well these folks treat service workers like the linemen who work our area during winter storms. They also sponsor local small businesses to help broaden their reach through market events. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and it is clean and inviting. Can’t wait for the post office!

They bring the food to your table! Good fried food along with baked goods from local places like Mission Home and others sourced from TN and PA.

About 38 years since last here! Wow is about all I can say! Staff at store were all friendly and helpful including the cook. Thank you all for making me feel at home! Thank you Todd Swansom for a beautiful new store and free wifi from what I understood. Incredible change and beautifully done! I'll be back but going to try some of this beef out 1rst!😉
