Adette's Bistro & Bakery

I was in the area and found Adette’s bakery and decided to stop by. The pastries were amazing. We tried a little bit of everything and they were all delicious. I particularly enjoyed the cannoli and the lobster tails. If you want good Italian pastries, stop by Adette’s!

The owner and staff are warm and welcoming.
I got some samples to test several cookies and banana bread they are just delicious. Sweet but not overly sweet like the ones you buy in supermarkets. Everything is fresh. It is expensive but completely worth it!

Wedding Cookies: Crumbles by melting in the mouth. Flavorful taste. 10/10

Italian Sesame Cookies: Appetizing crunch to every bite. 8/10

Double Chocolate Biscotti: Savory and sweet. Just right for a chocolate treat. 8/10

Chocolate Brownie Cookies: Made me think of a molten lava cake without the liquid chocolate. This cookie is great for those who love a soft and palatable chocolate taste. 7/10

Chai Latte: Heavy on the spices, but a tea I would definitely rebuy. The smell and flavor reminded me of fall and Christmas time. The aftertaste is pleasant as well. 9/10

Location: Easy to Find if you are looking.
Parking: Many open parking spots.
Inside: Small, Clean, and Kept.

Barista: Friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate.
Manager: Sociable and cordial.

Note: Another employee, usually in the back of the house, explained properly about the Bistro's operations concerning when they are open, closed, and thus forth with news about new foods that will be coming forth to their menu.

Ordered an item not on the menu. The item is called a sausage roll. A truly Zesty, crumbly, and delicate food. The sausage truly juicy and worthwhile. Defiantly and item I would rebuy. 10/10

Tiramisu Cup: Tiramisu is a type of treat that is a favorite of mine. This cup was creamy and light, but a bit watery. I would buy this again. 8/10

Strawberry Shortcake Cup: Normally I do not care for strawberry shortcakes, but this one changed my mind. A Flavorful, fruity, silk like texture danced on right down to my stomach. This product I defiantly will be rebuying in the future. 11/10

Bought a few more items that I shall write about soon.

By far this is the best Saint Joseph’s pastry I’ve had since I left New York eight years ago. The pastry part is delicious and fluffy. The pastry filling is sweet and smooth. The cannoli cream is phenomenal. I can’t wait to taste the Italian cookies and the cakes this is the best bakery I have found in the entire state of Florida.
Update. I wanted a real New York cheesecake and could not find it anywhere in the state of Florida for the last seven years, so are used to have them shipped from New York never again Adettes Bakery Cheesecake is the best cheesecake I have ever had. It was baked special to order. It is creamy white, and simply delicious. You need to speak with Al to order this cake in advance. It is well worth the wait. I’m hoping that when Adettes opens for daily business, that cheesecake is a regular item on the menu because I am not sharing mine with anybody😉

If you’re looking for real NY style crusty bread then you have to try Adettes fresh baked breads. I bought a crusty baguette today, 9/20, and all I can say is wowwwww. I used to have bread sent down from NYC at great expense……no more! Adettes is baked fresh daily. Im a Customer for life!

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is so good and the pastries are even better. There is not a bad food item in this place. My personal favorites are the eggplant parm and cookie bombs. This place is a must try, you won’t be sorry. Family owned and just the most wonderful people too. If you’re reading this GO THERE NOW!

Wonderful experience at Palm Coast's newest bakery, Adette's Bistro & Bakery located in City Marketplace across the parking lot from Dominic's Deli.

I ordered a small assortment to try: Baguette, Chicken Liver Paté, Goat Cheese & Avocado Spread, and a Lobster Tail pastry.

Everything was exemplary, but let's talk about this Lobster Tail. Oh.my.heavens. It weighs at least a pound; the pastry layers are crisp and flaky, the pastry cream is divine. They don't fill the pastry until you come to pick up your order, so everything is fresh.

Incredible quality of ingredients plus culinary artistry at work! Equally good (but not quite as exciting) the paté and spread were wonderful and the baguette was excellent as well. I can't wait to try more items!

At the present time, Adette's is pre-order only. Ordering is very easy on their website, adettes.com, or over the phone, and pickup is very efficient. Open Tuesday thru Friday 9-6, Saturday 9-4. Highly recommended, worth the drive if you're not in Palm Coast.

I walked into Adette's Bistro & Bakery in March 2024 for the first time, with the hope to order for an upcoming birthday celebration. While waiting, each item in the cases looked scrumptious.
Al, waited on me. I learned he is one of the owners of this bakery. I told him I wanted something other than a birthday cake. His suggestion was pastries. He also suggested Italian cookies.
He sent me home with samples of the cookies. They were delicious.
My husband and I made a decision.
We ordered mini pastries including Sfogliatella (lobster tail filled with cream), Cannoli Pastry, St. Joseph Pastry, and Napoleon's.
The cookies were comforting and delicious. The pastries were comforting, creamy, decadent, delicious, and rich.

Great pastries! My favorite we're the almond cake and the banana nut bread. The breakfast sandwich is also great!

They are amazing! Not only was the cake for my parent's anniversary party delicious, they worked with us during a last minute date change. Al is superbly friendly and goes above and beyond! The cakes were moist and we got raving compliments from our guests!

Adette's Bakery always comes through for me. I needed a strawberry flavored cake for a birthday and it was amazing and beautiful! Highly recommend!

Stopped by for a a piece of pastry and coffee for my husband and I and walked away with a lot more than just a couple of pieces, including a french baguette and cheese. Everything was VERY fresh and delicious and a lobster tail pastry was to die for!!! The place is super clean and customer service is outstanding. Will definitely be back.

Glad we discovered this bakery. They look like they’re closed and are currently set up for phone and online orders only (no walk-ins). We ordered a carrot cake and will be using them for all future bakery needs. Cake was delicious and an amazing value for the price. They could easily charge more for their quality and wonderful service. The Palm Coast community is lucky to have this local bakery in business.

The absolute BEST strawberry cakes I've ever had in my lifetime. Homemade butter cream frosting is to die for. My mother's red velvet birthday cake with her butter cream frosting now has an equal.

Al and his establishment make the best Italian pastries. You will not find anything better in Florida and hard to find anything better in New York and New Jersey either! He’s from the Bronx and he knows how to make quality Italian pastries. Everything is fresh and phenomenal. The lobster tails are to die for, cookies are amazing. Call ahead and Al has your order ready, very friendly staff and Al is the best! I highly recommend you go there, and I’m always recommending people to go there who are looking for real authentic Italian pastries.

We love Al and the team at Adette’s. Everything is made with care, attention and quality. Our favorites are the maple walnut cake, the cookies, lobster tails and cannolis🤤Delicious, hand-made and authentic!

The best Sfogliatella I've eaten anywhere. Even better than the ones I sampled all over Campania. The pastry's crisp, buttery, leaves quickly melted away to a fluffly orange ricotta filling. The bakery was understaffed when I visited and only able to fill online or phone orders. The proprietor (Al) was apologetic and let me know what they had on hand. My only regret is that I didn't order some cannoli too!

Called Thursday evening right before they closed to order 16 Lobster tails for Friday. Al was wonderful!! They had them ready before 12:00 and they were fresh and delicious!!! We'll be back when we're in the area! Thank you Al and your crew!

Been here 30yrs. been looking for a real pastry shop. Discovered Adette’s at Christmas and have loved and shared the word ever since. Just like up North only better.

I will never order a publix cake again for a special occasion. Al from Adette's Bakery worked with me to create my vision for a 50th Birthday party. I needed cake to feed over a 100 people and Al gave me the best options that would work best with my situation. We finally settled on a display cake for the party & pictures (Show Stopper) and in the back we settled on sheet cakes which were to be eaten & never seen!!!. The taste was amazing!!! We had chocolate cake with Cannoli Cream Filling and Italian Butter Cream. I had so many people wanting to know where the cake came from as it was one of the best cakes that had ever tasted!! Thank You all

OMG!!!! Finally a local place that has a taste of NY pastries and bread. Absolutely incredible. The best gift ever when my neighbor brought over a box of mixed cookies. I’ve been there twice in the last 10 days. A real gem. Everyone should try it. You’ll be hooked!
