Jackson Hewitt Tax Service

Had taxes prepared by Jackson Hewitt at Walmart in Palm Coast today. Very pleased with the professionalism of tax preparer. I would highly recommend this location.

Great service at Walmart. helped get us some money back. Very satisfied.

I have been going to them for 5 years now. The Office supervisor Anibell is awesome. He is always on point and has a funny personality and very professional.

The experience was good but the fee was to much with a simple application.

We used JH this year because of a radio ad saying that all tax returns started at $59, and you would pay no more than $179 at the local Walmart. There was a huge floor display by the office desk as well that stated all returns start at $59. Imagine my SHOCK at the bill of $539. For a 1040! I have NEVER paid that much for returns in my life. Last year, I paid $138 for the same return--although, I made about $20k less this year. When I complained, the preparer told me to report it to the company.

Also, I called the phone number in the radio ad to set up an appointment. They told me I had to call the local office. They never answered the phone, so I stopped by, and he said I had to call the 800 number to set up the appointment. They said he was wrong. At any rate, I waited as a walk-in.

I feel I was lied too, and no one really cared. I will NEVER...EVER...use Jackson Hewitt again...PERIOD.

Left my taxes for over a week before tax day and still hasn't touched them. Had to wait hours to get it done and they never got to me. I had to file an extension myself. The office is gone I have called several times to get my paperwork back. No one ever calls me back.

I scheduled an appointment last Monday for friday at 10am. When I got there a representative took my form and told me i had to schedule for tomorrow because of I didn't have an IP what the lier didn't realize is i already talked to the IRS and his office about a mail in. When i finally told him that more than once he finally said i needed to be rescheduled because they scheduled me with a lady that was not going to be there. So they had 4 days to tell him this and choose not to. I took off work and and structured my day around this. These guys are liers and unprofessional. Funny because monday they told me H&R block was the unprofessional ones.

It's sad how i been doing taxes with this company for 12 years and this year out of all years they did not want to help me on filling fees. charged me over $600 and when i asked to lower it, they said all the could do is credit me $25....... I'M DONE WITH THIS COMPANY AND TAKING MY BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE AND ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TOO..
