What a find! Pet friendly motel with a pet friendly beach! Hard to find in Cocoa beach! Loved the vibe and Sherri was great at the front desk! We had perfect rocket launch viewing from both the beach and their viewing deck!

The rooms are old school but clean and come with a full kitchen. Quiet, peaceful, adorable property! Will definitely be back!

The location, on a quiet stretch of Cocoa Beach with direct access to the beach was stunning. The whole set up is perfect for a getaway at the beach. The apartment is on the small side but perfectly adequate for a couple or 3 persons. The bed was comfy and the kitchen and bathroom satisfactory. Outside is a charm. A decked seating platform, a tiki hut and a covered dining area on grass.
The beach is accessed through the dunes and you needn't worry about finding space to sit. And a whole roomful of beach accessories are freely available. Joy.
And if Space is your thing there is an uninterrupted view of the launch site at Cape Canaveral.

Upon reading all the great reviews, we booked this hotel for a 2 night stay. The day of our 3pm check in I called the front desk and spoke with Justin and asked if we could request an early check in. He was extremely helpful and hospitable and told us there was a room available for early check in! When we arrived, Justin checked us in and made us feel so welcome! The rooms were typical rooms with an older beach vibe. Anytime we saw staff they greeted us with a smile and greeting. We had a wonderful time and will absolutely be going back!

Who couldn't give the location of this a 5 star. The beach is a minutes walk and it is fabulous.
The reception staff were lovely. Friendly and happy to welcome guests to their hotel.

Umm absolutely beautiful! If you’re not picky this is perfect. Could it use a little love sure but it has a ton of character. Rooms are super clean, beach is beautiful, quiet & just so cute. We brought our two pets & couldn’t be happier!

Nice place to stay if you want to watch sunrise and every day enjoy the beach. We had a room on the 1st floor. It was everything that you needed to make food and have a nice time.

We absolutely love South Beach end it’s our second home or our home away from home we live here in central Florida so it’s only an hour and 20 minutes. The staff is always very welcoming and they know us by name like we are family highly recommended clean location and super quiet.

Excellent location, right in front of the ocean. The room was small but comfortable. The place is pet friendly (love that) Perfect to rest and enjoy a beautiful sunrise.

South Beach Inn was such a fun find for us! They are a true depiction of the Old retro Florida feel. The quiet location just adds to the whole cool vibe, away from the center of Cocoa Beach, yet close enough to grab some groceries, or hit a tiki bar and grill when you want. The access to the beach is such a bonus, as well as all the beach needs they provide. We loved the open courtyard, also used the outdoor grill a couple times. We appreciated everything this place had to offer. Nothing overly fancy, just perfectly perfect. Also, the staff (especially Justin and Sherry) were so incredibly kind, personable, and helpful. We loved it so much, we booked 2 more weeks for next year before we checked out. Great job South Beach Inn!

South Beach Inn is my go to getaway place. Whether I'm just exhausted and need a break or have family coming in I always head a few blocks from my home and it's the seaside getaway I need. Cozy rooms, friendly staff and beautiful views!!!

This place is precious. Simple, quiet, great location. The common areas are wonderful and well kept. It's nothing fancy, more like a 1960s motel. We loved it.

We found this Inn to be everything that was promised. Built over 60 years ago, it is a classic beach motel that has been well-taken care of and improved over the years. The rooms are clean and bright, and has a well-equiped kitchen too. It's a very short walk to the beach, and well away from the crowds.
We're so happy that we discovered this Inn and hope to return with our family. It is a comfortable family-friendly place, and the guests all seem to love it as well.
We especially appreciated the staff that was helpful in every way. In particular, we want to thank Justin and Sherri for making our stay so nice.

I had a wonderful experience here. Was with my dog and they were very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and everything was so clean and neat and everything I needed to enjoy my stay.

The South Beach Inn is a hidden gem in central Florida. We spent Christmas and New Year's with a large family group and our dogs. The rooms are big, clean and the kitchen made preparing meals convenient and easy. The Inn is about a 1 minute walk from the beach. The numerous outdoor amenities make the stay more enjoyable. You might even get lucky and see some SpaceX or NASA launches from the beach (we seen 3).

The staff are amazing; Sheri and Justin were so friendly and helpful and they really worked hard to make our stay fun and enjoyable.

We will definitely be back. I have nothing bad to say about our experience.

Justin, the office manager, was very helpful and friendly upon check-in and out! The room was a perfect fit for our family! Equipped with its own kitchen was great for home cooked meals (and saving money). It was a very short walk to the beach with its private walkway. They offer beach equipment such as chairs, umbrella boogie boards, etc free to use by the guest. They also offered a grilling/smoker section! Along with some corn holes to play with. We definitely took advantage and had a great Birthday dinner outside with a wonderful sunset view of the beach! Again, much cheaper than going to any restaurant! I could go on and on about how wonderful this stay was. We are ready to book again and are already planning our next visit! You will not regret staying here!

I love the South Beach Inn and I have stayed here twice this month. They provide a closet full of surfboards, boogie boards, chairs, sand pails, shovels and umbrellas; free of charge for you to enjoy the beach that this wonderful little place sits on. The rooms are spotless, I never ran out of hot water, the air was always ice cold and the pillows and mattresses are comfy. The folks that run the front desk so kind and accommodating. A special shout out to Sherri and Justin. This is my new go to for a quick beach visit.

We loved the direct beach access which allowed us to watch the Sunset, capture a rocket launch from the Space Center and observe a Awesome night underneath the constellations. The sky is magical from this location on the beach. The apartment came equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Within a few miles we found exceptional places to dine. Florida Fresh Grill for dinner and Flavour kitchen for Sunday brunch. The hospitality at South Beach Inn was lovely and I have added it to my local vacation oasis. Also the property has a beautiful tropical garden yard area with a pavilion, picnic tables, a tiki hut and a small deck where a wedding was conducted. The other visiting guess were all smiles, very friendly. That's most likely due to the receptionist Justin who is simply a Jewel. Just the way that He Greats you really sets the tone for your stay. Perfect is the word! We are a family from Texas traveling with our Golden Retriever and frantically searching for somewhere close to the beach to stay the night and soak up what little time we had visiting the Atlantic Ocean.

I called and spoke with the nicest lady named Sherri and told her our plans and she then proceeded to tell me all about the hotel, the beach and most importantly the welcoming of our fur baby. Sherri put us in the best room in our opinion that was on the top floor with a wonderful view of the beach with easy access as well. If you’re looking for a pet friendly, hospitable staff, and a cute and clean vintage hotel that has a 1940’s vibe, then South Beach Inn is the perfect spot. 🐶

We stayed for three nights and let me till you this place was amazing!!! Everything you needed! The staff was great, friendly and helpful suggesting a great place for us to go eat while we waiting for our room to get ready(because we arrived early, not there fault it wasn’t ready)The room was clean and smelled great! I loved the grounds with chairs everywhere and grills to use! I also loved the fact that the rooms are basically a small apartment and loved the decor in the rooms, the bed and pillows felt great! Best sleep we got the whole time on the trip! The view from our room was amazing and the fact that the beach was right there was a big plus!! I would highly recommend this place! We will stay here again!!Absolutely loved this place!!

my boyfriend and i had been wanting to visit cocoa beach all summer but did not have much time to plan the trip itself. a few days before leaving, we began looking at places to stay and my god was everything overpriced and EXPENSIVE!! however, we found this gem and decided to take our chances. let me just say, we were not disappointed. this little inn is absolutely amazing, it has everything you could need and want plus more. the staff and owner are super nice, understanding, and accommodating. the room was adorable, smelled and looked very clean, and astonished us with how much was provided (particularly the fully stocked kitchen, we just passed by publix and bought some snacks and food). the location was better than we could’ve ever imagined, literally a two minute walk to the beach and if you forgot beach chairs or beach supplies? no worries, the inn provides a closet full of every beach thing you could possibly need. we had such an amazing time here, even woke up to see the sunrise one morning (it was well worth waking up early), and we’d definitely recommend anyone coming to visit cocoa beach to stay at this hidden gem. thank you so much to everyone who made our weekend an unforgettable one, we hope to be able to come back soon!!!
