Second Wind Furniture and Antiques

I highly recommend second wind furniture and antiques, I found so many lovely items. Wished I had room to take some the the dressers home. The antiques were a great price. I found a potato cutter, measuring cups and a bunch of other gadgets I want to go back for. Thank you so much for being kind, introducing us to the cat! 😊

Definitely worth a stop. They do great restoration work. I highly recommend a visit, especially if you are into creating less waste. They take abandoned furniture and other useful items and restore them. Butcher blocks that look like brand new. Penn reels and poles fully working. So much wood furniture all sanded and refinished. I didn't even get to the back "TARDIS" area as she called it. Come help these veterans, they are lovely people with amazing finds. Real wood.

The owners were wonderful and friendly. The inventory was wide-ranging and good quality, not to mention the great prices. All-in-all a great stop on my antiquing adventure!!

Sweetest owners I’ve ever met! In addition to having lots of stuff, they also had a lot of knowledge and advice to share about the area, food recommendations, and some sweet pets to share. I became best friends with their cat while my friends shopped!

Steve and Lisa are so knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time learning about the shop while we were there visiting Hobart village.

My husband and I stayed at the Second Wind Airbnb while waiting on our house to close, which is also owned by Steven and Lisa. Not only are they wonderful people, but their antiques are just as charming. They do an amazing job refinishing old furniture. I know that my husband and I will be back once we get settled into our house. We went for the Airbnb, and we ended up getting several antiques. I highly recommend heading to Second Wind Furniture and Antiques, and if you are lucky you will get to meet their sweet kitties.

I must share a review of Second Wind. Steven and Lisa have a fabulous collection of antiques, and they do an amazing job refinishing them. The final products are beautiful, and well worth the visit to Hobart!

Small place off the main road, with some cool finds.

We visited early afternoon on a Saturday. The shop was open but dark. It didn't seem like anyone was home. We rang the bell but no one answered so we left. We'd like to return, based on the glowing recommendations of our Airbnb host.
