Shay (or shea I’m so sorry if I’m spelling it wrong) is an endless pool of local knowledge not only of the BEAUTIFUL selection of wine and spirits but also of the local community and surrounding areas. We left with an Austrian orange natural wine as well as a local bottle. She really made our experience as travelers so amazing, we can’t wait to bring our friends and family back here. 10/10 recommend!

Shaye has created such an inviting and thoughtfully curated store with such a fantastic selection of wines from around the world. From the handwritten labels to warm conversation, I am so glad I found this store during my visit to Hobart. She was also so helpful with providing me with great recommendations for other shops to visit in the surrounding area. If I lived nearby this would definitely be my new go-to spot!

Cellar Door Wines & Spirits is a delightful addition to Hobart Village. Shaye was very knowledgeable, and helpful with her recommendations. The shop is charming with a boutiques vibe. We will make this one of your regular stops.

Such a lovely shop! Wonderful selection including some very cool, quirky wines. Super knowledgable, friendly staff. And fair prices. Just an all around gift for this part of the Catskills. (Also the building is SO cute!)

What a great intimate and cozy shop with pretty amazing (especially French) wine collection has just opened in Hobart. I have been waiting for this one. So excited!!!

Walking in to Cellar Door is like walking in to your favorite old record shop---all the hits lined up, with some hidden gems back in the stacks. Even better, the staff here is amazing; eager to help, without a shred of pretense or indifference. 15/10 will be a regular.

Amazing wine shop in a quaint village in the Catskills. Excellent selection, prices and overall a really wonderful experience. We’ll be back for sure.

Lovely store and lovely people!

This is a lovely little wine shop in Hobart and has a good selection of French wines. The owner is willing to help you find something you like. "If you like this wine you should consider this brand instead it is a bit better". He tells us, and no he didn't recommend a more expensive wine. There is a good variety of inexpensive to higher priced wines, some ciders, and spirits with a interesting variety of choices.
Check out this little shop, they should be starting wine tastings on Fridays.
