Really good food. We got the Street Tacos for Taco Tuesday (pork with pico, cilantro, onion, avocado) with chips and queso. Also got the Squirrel Burger which is their bacon cheese burger. Really good! Service was friendly and quick. Recommend!

Good food, Friendly staff, would recommend.

The Reuben and chicken cordon bleu wrap were very good. I thought the lobster bisque soup was a little plain with no lobster in it that I could find.

Stopped through cause I was in town for my grandpas funeral, a local bought me an my entire family a round, the bartenders were friggen AMAZING. Definitely will make this a stop when I’m passing through good ole Willow River. Can never beat a small town vibe.

This is a GREAT "small town" restaurant / bar & grill....feels like you are able to step back in time to a much SIMPLER & RELAXING time in this world when you walk in there....

The staff is SOOO VERY KIND.....SOOTHING ACTUALLY....

They recently started serving breakfast as well and I've ate there a handful of times and the food has ALWAYS been GREATTT.....

Highly recommend giving The Squirrel Cage a try if your even close to its location.....

Jessi was an amazing bartender! Super personal and fun. Burger was phenomenal and the rib eye sandwich didn't dissapoint us. If you camp at Willow River, stop by this place! Cute small town joint with friendly service

Stopped there the night before Thanksgiving, and the place was already getting busy. We received immediate friendly service and our food came timely. There was quite a menu selection, too, I had a hard time choosing. Went with burgers that were great. Will definitely go back to try more menu items. Nice place with great atmosphere.

Our server was great, and very friendly. We waited a bit for our food, which our server explained would happen because it was busy at the time. We never had to call our server over for drinks, as she was on top of it. Really, she was great.
I ordered the Cage Burger. These people are not messing around with their burgers, btw. My husband got the Snow Cap Burger, which was fabulous, and recommends it. My Cage Burger was really big, and seriously tasty. I'm not saying it had a good piece of bacon, or there was a good sauce on it, but that every single bite was honestly delicious. I don't know what all they put in that thing, but it was a joy to eat. Let me also mention that the fries were perfect and salted and wonderful, and I am in love with them.
Our group of four had no complaints about food or service, and the beers were cold.
It's a clean place, including the restrooms, and the service and food are great. They also have a pool table and darts.
I didn't get a chance to check out everything in the Squirrel Cage, but I like what I've seen so far.
Go get that Cage Burger with fries ;)

My husband and I were visiting a local campground and stopped into eat. I order the patty melt and my husband had a burger. The patty melt was so good, I am so glad I took left overs home to savor the rest. My husband ate his whole burger. Food came quickly. The service was great! The restaurant seemed very clean, love the little squirrel knickknacks. I enjoyed a local beer from moose lake brewery. Definitely will stop again

Stopped on a Thursdays day afternoon in February. Had a burger and fries with a Moose Lake beer. All three where excellent. And the bartender/waitress/cook was great too.

This place has been updated and the bar is in excellent shape. They did a very good job and even the bar stools are top notch. The only thing that wasn't updated was the bathrooms, but they are still okay.

We are at a local seasonal place nearby and have come here to eat now 4 times. Burgers are fantastic. Bone in wings are very good too. The wait staff are attentive without being overbearing. Keeping my drink full is a plus! Atmosphere could use some sprucing up but all in all a good place to come have a great burger and a cold drink (beer for me!)

It’s our Anniversary and Jenny was our bartender! She was so friendly and made our experience so fun! We loved the Squirrel Cage, and will be back! Also great burgers! ♥

It's a great place to eat! Huge dining area, families welcome, dance floor, pool table, sports to watch, attached off sale!
I met up with classmates that I hadn't seen for a long time! I live out of state. The bar persons were so kind and accommodating! It's obvious that folks come for food before the alcohol. Even single parties at the bar and eating!
It's a nice relaxing atmosphere! We were going to leave to visit another bar, but we wrapped up our memorable night at the Cage!

Food and prices were great. Burger was very good size and the bun fit the burger which hardly ever happens. Bun was nice and fresh and very good. Fresh topping and the bacon was real thick like it should be. Fries were perfect and cooked properly. Oh and the pickles were very good crisp and crunchy not stale. Everyone else’s food was good as well. Overall very good place to eat and will for surely be going back again when we are in the area. God job guys it’s hard to get a 4 star out of me to be honest.

We always try to stop at when we are in the area. Great Cage burger as always. Have been going there for many years and the new owners are very nice. Our bartender was super cool! Thanks for the great lunch!

Great food and service! I had the fried chicken sandwich special and it was DELICIOUS! Half pound burgers and scrumptious fries. Friendly service as well. Be sure to stop if you're in the area.

Very friendly and lively place. The food is delicious and you can buy there Moose Lake IPA, a beer hard to find. It was my fourth or fifth visit over the last 5 years and every time I enjoyed this restaurant.
