Great paster and welcoming congregation

Nice church, had a good dinner there. They serve lutefisk, ham, potato sausage and all the trimmings once a year. My husband wouldn't miss the lutefisk. I love the potato sausage. Great dinner.

I went here to get my taxes done by Lakes and Pines. If you are low income and qualify, you could get your taxes done for FREE.
The church building, however, was clean and inviting.

We had attended as small children, always welcoming kind people. Chose the church for my father's funeral, was deeply discusted with the preacher. The kitchen staff, the food the greeting are, we fantastic. We had several problems that on me and my family's behalf will not over look! Very unprofessional! Very rude! Even pronounced my dads name wrong numerous times, changed the songs up 10 mins before the service because he didn't get someone to run the sound board, as prior told us it would be taken care of. Then approached me infront of my dads immideate family and infront of all, mention the I had to pay before I left and not to forget to tip!!!! We were SHOCKED. it was a nightmare. When we went to pay, he wanted payment for the singing, that didn't show up, and harrased my sister about getting tipped. I would love to give the church 5 stars, as I did the funeral home we were so impressed with there professionalism, but I would hate for anyone to have to go through what we did, on the worst day of are lives. Loosing a parent is already hard enough.. i hope it never happens again, I hope there's some sort of accountability for him. The last person you would expect that sort of thing from. As I said the other staff and facility where TOP NOTCH. It's too bad he represents such great people. This review is behalf of my entire family. Completely appalling when people approach you to let you know the preacher pronounced your father's name wrong SEVERAL TIMES. We had a couple meetings about a plan, and how payment worked, we had the money put together, the pastor never said a word, we assumed that we paid after, to get an accurate total. We understand, paying but, I was raised with ethics, you do not approch the head table of the funeral, and loudly enough for the hole table to hear, mention paying the bill, and tipping, especially infront of my children and my aunt! And then have him yell at my little sister about getting tipped.... Just appauling!
