This is a bright, cheerful bakery with great pastries and coffee! The interior is recently updated, and service is quick and friendly. A great place to stop in downtown Marquette!

The entire family loves this place. Something for everyone. Sweet, savory, amazing baguettes, delicious scones and cookies, loaves are to die for. We are so happy this place exists! You guys are doing amazing things over there! (Some of the best baguettes outside of Europe!)

All our pizza dough, burger buns, and bread loaves are from the Marquette Baking Company and they are fantastic! Excellent quality. The owner and staff are extremely responsive whenever we need anything and communication is A++. This is a bakery that takes a lot of pride in what they do and it shows.

Friendly staff, fresh bread, great experience. It's a small shop tucked in the corner but they have a decent selection of fresh bread and pastrys. I had a blueberry Scone which was big enough for two... Or one lol. Prices were pretty fair in comparison to other shops scone was $3 but sized appropriately and all other bread and pastry seemed reasonably priced as well. Scone reminded me of a classic bisquick mix, a little salt, nice and dry, great crust just the way a scone should be. Overall a pleasant little shop I will surely be stopping by again!

In October I needed to find a company to cater a training I was hosting in the Marquette area. After a quick Google search I stumbled upon the Marquette Baking Company. I'm so glad I did. Peter was amazing to work with. He was prompt, flexible and provided amazing customer service. He customized my order and everyone loved the selection of goodies. I look forward to working with him again in the future!!

I have to give a shout out to the staff here! I came in with a very specific and tedious request... they responded with smiles, went the extra mile, and had amazing attitudes while accommodating me! The baked goods are simply wonderful! Thank you Marquette Baking Company staff! You rock!

I got to the bakery today and saw they had closed their doors forever. I was immediately overcome with horrible sadness and when i got back into the car my girlfriend thought someone had died as I began to cry. All afternoon I kept losing my composure and crying whenever I talked about it. This may seem strange to some to be so emotional over a business or bread but the passion love and life they put into this place came through in everything they made. Their goods were special and made you smile smelling eating or even looking at them so that it was not just eating or sustaining yourself it was a experience of love and amazement. I moved to munising in August and have come here almost every week since and I don't know what to do or where to turn to now i can't imagine cutting bread out of my life but I don't want anyone else's. I write this review cause I hope the owners will still see it and know the huge difference they made in just one person's life not to mention all the people they touched in their ten years in business and to let you know you are loved and will be deeply missed.

Customer service was great; friendly and helpful staff! Walk in and its like heaven, smells amazing. The pie we ordered was great! I'm sure the other items on their menu are just as good. Highly recommended.

Monkey bread muffins!! Beautiful and delicious breads and baked goods. Fabulous and friendly customer service. Baguettes are very reasonably priced.

The cardamom snickers doodles and fugasse are out of this world. We purchased them at the farmers market in Marquette. I highly recommend them.
