I’ve had nothing but good care from NP Bonnie Kilpela. I’ve had care three times with her once through a kidney stone episode. I recommended to her friends and they had nothing but good things to say. Especially about her thoroughness.

I was sent to Dr. Gast, by my doctor, to see if he knew of anything that he could do, to go along with my pain meds, that would eleviate my pain, even a little. I have severe scoliosis (for over 20 years, that I know of. It's possible I had it at birth), plus multiple other health problems..Dr. Gast gave me a stronger pain med to try to help the pain and suggested I get a spinal cord stimulator, also. I gave the meds back, because I didn't like how they made me feel and they gave no more relief than the weaker ones I was on. For some reason, they had me see the NP(Bonnie Kilpela), for the next visit. I gave her the bottle of pain meds back and told her that my primary doc said they could still be in charge of my pain, as long as they prescribed the dose she wanted me on. I gave Ms.Kilpela the paper of the dose that my doc wanted me on. It's a weaker pain killer that I was on for years, before trying 2 stronger ones. I gave both stronger ones back. But, Ms. Kilpela said there was NO WAY she would give me that dose or even give me the dose that I had already been on for years. She cut it down to 4x's daily. I was in severe pain the whole month. I called my regular doc. She said she needed a release form from Ms. Kilpela, because she was taking over my meds again. That went in one ear and out the other. She proceeded to ask if I was on other drugs. (Which I have never taken in my life) She wouldn't believe how much pain I was in and cut the dose down to 3 x's a day. Unbelievable!! I told her I will never be able to get out of bed. She didn't care. So, the receptionist called when I got home and said she needed to make my next appt. I told her that I told Ms. Kilpela I wanted a release form. The receptionist said she was never told that. So, I talked to the nurse. I told her Ms. Kilpela treated me like I was lying about my pain. The nurse said no, she said she just wants you on an exercise program along with your meds. I told her that that was NOT true and Ms. Kilpela NEVER said that to me. What a liar!! So, I told her I do NOT want to see her ever again. The nurse said, ok and she will terminate my contract. Thank God!!! My doctor sent me there to get help with my pain and Ms. Kilpela disabled me worse than I've been in years. I would give no stars, if I could!! The woman is an uncaring person. And, at the 1st visit, my 19 year old daughter was with me and Ms. Kilpela asked if her boyfriend works. (None of her business & completely irrelevant to my visit) I told her that he has seizures daily and no one knows why, so he can't work, right now. Kilpela outright told her to dump him and find someone with money, cuz that is what matters in life. What??? Not professional and very uncaring. And, I would never condone my daughter being with someone just for money! This woman is horrible.
