Old School Deli

I have been here many times & it's always great food with excellent service! Wide variety on the menu plus great specials, large portions & low prices. Love this restaurant.

This was our first visit. Darlene our waitress was very attentive, helpful and very nice. We ordered eggs Benedict, bean and ham soup, french onion soup, the Ruler sandwich, and all were exceptional. English muffins were house made. We had a great meal and great service.

The food here is just awesome! You can tell when there is pride of ownership and the food speaks for itself. Steve and his staff are determined to make your experience wonderful!

Never had a bad experience at old school deli. Very personal service. The food is great. The employees are great. It's always like sitting down with family. When you're there they come and sit with you and talk. They have time. If they don't, they just smile and say hello and serve other people. It's a great place to go. I highly recommend it

Come here often for breakfast. The eggs benedict is to die for. The house made english muffins are amazing. Also just tried the 5 course valentines dinner. AMAZING. House made Italian wedding soup, shrimp cocktail, salad, bacon wrapped filet with lobster tail, all finished with Creme brulee. Prefect dinner. Awesome staff. Love it!!!!

Update 2/25/24 Still an absolutely amazing breakfast. Got the eggs Benedict, it comes with a choice of 3 sides!!! Eggs are free poached to prefection!!!! The owner Steve was doing all the cooking and was doing a fantastic job. Love this place.

Stopped in for the first time and loved it. The people were very friendly and the food was great. The onion rings and breaded mushrooms are the best.

Old School Deli is by far my favorite restaurant in Roseville!! Breakfast is great here, hearty & full of flavor. Portions are very generous.They smoke a variety of meat in house, the corned beef is absolutely phenomenal. I cannot even eat a corned beef sandwich anywhere else, Steve has me spoiled. You simply cannot get a better meal at a better value. And all staff at Old School Deli are amazing and follow all health and safety guidelines. My personal recommendation is to try the School Bus Wheel sandwich, it's my "go to" for lunch. But honestly, there's no bad choices here.

Okay, I didn’t know what to expect. I just wanted a good breakfast. This place was everything I was not expecting. I had the Corned Beef Hash, with pancakes. THE BEST Corned beef hash I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere is intimate and comfortable. Everything is cute and “old school”. The service was awesome! Like visiting your aunt and uncle and they JUST SO happened to cook. I ordered to go, but I decided to dine in instead. Go here! You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

Super good food and the prices are not bad at all.
My girlfriend and I went there to pick up something hot then went out to the park for a picnic this morning as a celebration.
For a full two breakfast orders with pancakes, waffles, eggs and plenty of sides it was under $20. The folks running the shop are very kind and polite. Quick to get your food and service is excellent.
On the inside it is clean, decorated in fun colors as well as licence plates, checkered tiles, and some records.
Some of the customers in there though are a bit odd. Some of them will try and talk to you which is okay, I understand wanting to be friendly. However, some of the weird ones will get upset if you don't want to chat. So I think we are going to be keeping up with the To-Go method.

Great staff! The biscuits and gravy are absolutely incredible and so is the bacon......!!!!! My favorite breakfast spot.

Cute little restaurant with friendly staff and good prices. You definitely get your money's worth here and the food is delicious. It's further back off the road so it's easy to miss. I just happened to see it and pulled in, and I'm really glad i did! They have a little breakfast buffet and tons of breakfast options where you can choose 3-4 sides at no extra charge. They also serve a lot of Michigan made products which I love. And if it's not on the menu, just ask and they'll literally add it for you, even family recipes! The menu names go with the theme of the restaurant which i thought was cute. Looking forward to coming back again!

Owner is super nice. Have been here for dinner twice and both times it has been near closing. We were treated like we were the first customer of the day. The food was really good and we liked the decor.

When we walked in for the first time, we saw that it was a buffet breakfast. We decided to try it out, and it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious, especially the biscuits and gravy. The potato pancakes and the hash browns were so wonderfully seasoned. Everyone was very polite and welcoming. Would definitely go back! Make sure to pull the string down on the bell on your way out! And say hi to Guy on the wall...

What a great place for breakfast. Steve the owner makes a point to stop and visit each table whenever he can. He loves to joke around and is very friendly. The food is always great. Make sure to try the biscuits and gravy!

Great food. Had an awesome club sandwich, and was pleasantly surprised to find it was made with real sliced turkey and not lunch meat. Fries were also excellent. Owner came over and talked to us, super friendly and obviously has a real passion for real, authentic, quality deli. Top notch.
