If your up north around Marquette you definitely want/ need to go here if you love mountain biking like me. This trail head is not very hard on certain trails like grom but trails like Morgan creek get a little difficult but easily defeated. Morgan creek trail has such nice views there is a water fall actually two waterfalls and there really cool. Plus if you're thirsty you should cup your hands and drink the delicious spring water.

Best freeride mountain biking in the U.P. If you're looking for the big stuff, head to the top of Benson and then keep on trucking along the fireroad past the Benson trailhead for about 0.25-0.5 mile. You'll know when you're there.

Wonderful trails for all ages. Well maintained, nice grom loop and jump lines. Plenty of parking and ability to bike to waterfalls, Marquette mountain, downtown, or grab a beer at rippling river campground

Pretty awesome! Good for beginners and experts alike. The double black diamond will require pads before you ride it.

Make sure you go the route of your biking ability bc the black Diamond and double Diamond routes are tough!

A nice trail system. The green trail was more difficult compared to the green trail I normally ride. It's definitely a good, interesting ride.

Marquette has THE BEST place to ride in Michigan. Rippling River campgrounds is literally a few peddles away from the trail head.

Rooster, Yah Hey, Doug's back 9, double take, zeugs's trail, doctor and Rock Bottom were lots of fun. They also have some easier trails for less experienced riders. Doug's back 9, Doctor, and rock bottom were my favorites. The single black/blue flow trails and most of the tech is fun, but the big double black Freeride trails, and the double black tech make Marquette a destination.

My favorite trails to ride! Trail levels for every ability. I was nervous my first time that I’d be too challenging for me, but not at all (although there are harder trails if you’re looking for a challenge). They also have a great kids track that my 3 year old loves to ride on her push bike. Great place for the entire biking family!

These are some wonderful trails. Compared to the North trails, these are longer and some of the sections don't have quite the same downhills for bikers. That said, there are some amazing sections and I can't say that there was a single one that disappointed. If you're serious about mountain biking, just doing a leisurely ride or enjoying a walk through some beautiful scenery, definitely hit this place up.

Had a blast in the Morgan trail. I think I enjoyed this more then the trails in copper harbor.
