Took me longer to find out about these beautiful trails than I care to admit. From gravel, to dirt, to pavement if you are someone looking to find trails in the Sterling, Rock Falls, Dixon, etc area, this is a great spot to check out! Running, cycling, walking, there is alot of beautiful scenery😊

Got a chance to bike the I/C Rail trail , you have a choice of paved trail or off road bike trail with jumps , hills , drop offs and other fun things.

This trail is amazing and reminds me a lot of the Jane Adams trails portion in Monroe Wisconsin except unlike the Jane adams trail, it does not cross through the whole town or connect nearby towns together.

I think this trail has some great potential for future development... Since the Lowell Parkway trail connects to the I.C Rail trail and extends into dixon down to north demont ave, I think a cool intercity project to further the trail through town, connecting it to Page park would benefit the community and reduce car dependency, freeing up our road ways and transportation budget.

Great old train track now blacktop path. Also, single track mountain bike path runs parallel then dirt road through the woods and by river.

Very nice walking path. Paved so good for bikes but I usually go a lot further than this trail runs.

The park district has recently upgraded some of the amenities on this trail. Truly a lovely place to be. There have been recent complaints of bike theft, so don't be complacent and leave your ride unattended.

A very nice path. I walked with some of my Rockin Nutrition friends on Thanksgiving morning. Almost every time I go there I see deer. 3 that day.

Great place to walk, hike, have a picnic. Boat ramp for boating, playground for kids and a nature center.

Nice place to go for offroad bike trails on the side while there is a paved trail in the middle .

The granddaughters loved hiking and checking out stuff along the way. Like a deer eating or the discovery of a fungi more commonly called scarlet elfs cap.

Out geocaching, walking, run or jog. Can even bring the bike. The sounds of wildlife and just being out and about make this a great path.

Beautiful park. There is a nature center with info about the area and a beautiful Owl that makes it worth the visit.
