Wooden Wonderland

Great park with the park district facility right next door. Two great pavilions and bathrooms.

Great play area and splash pad. My youngest is 1.5 and he had a great time climbing and exploring. Lots of ground to cover so it's a great park to wear the kiddos out. A bench in the center area for parents to watch their kids would be super handy.

We enjoy this park alot. The bigger section is perfect for exploring little feet. Both kiddos love running around and playing on the big castle maze. Nice and quiet, lots of room and seating. There's also a shelter great for birthday parties.

I love that this place still exists. Wooden playgrounds are on their way out, but this place holds strong. Lots of character. Unique woodwork and tractor tires. Balance beams, and swings galore. And it appears they're expanding on with a modern splash pad. I hope this place sticks around for a long time because it's slowly becoming one of a kind!

Fun place to take your kids so they can burn energy. Splash pad is great on a hot day.

It's a very clean park with a variety of things to climb and slide down, one bench and one picnic table might be an issue if more people are there but it's never been too busy when I've gone.

Very updated park for kids with a lot of activities and a separate water park many different ways for the kids to get cooled off. Plus as an extra plus there are tables with solar phone charging bases. So everyone doesn't have to worry if their phones battery runs low they can plug in and all set.

Very fun for kids, clean, and in great shape. Grandkids loved it

A wonderful park that I spent many a good day at in my youth. It's a classic park with a sister park in Sterling and I believe another in Rockfalls. It was a brilliant idea by our predecessors to build these parks for the following generations to love and enjoy.

Fun family experience for children and parents alike - even grandparents where imaginative play abounds! Well built and safe contruction with plenty of space to play. Large adjacent parking lot and an open roofed shelter with picknick benches for taking snack/ lunch breaks.

It is like an adventure. In, out, up, under & over. I am sure I have missed something. This keeps them so entertained & they have a blast.
