Hyatt Place Chicago/Schaumburg

The staff were exceptional and really made our stay better than expected. Me and my child were there two nights for an event at the convention center (5-minute drive). The room was clean, pool was big, common areas were pleasant, and breakfast was excellent (really appreciated the freshly-cooked-and-served eggs, tortillas, and french toast). The hotel had everything we need including some toiletries we forgot; very much appreciated and saved me a trip to the pharmacy. They made my kid an off-menu grilled cheese for dinner, and it and the fries were very tasty. The bar is small but more than functional. We also appreciated that you can cast to the TV from apps on your phone (not all hotels have this). This hotel is an excellent value! The only negative was the vrooming engine noise from cars and the highway, which can be quite loud at night, but I assume this is true for every hotel in this area, unfortunately.

Well appointed, clean rooms that look pretty new. They definitely had been refurbished more recently than the Hyatt next door. The finishes and fixtures are a little bit more basic. They have a really nice continental breakfast that's included. The scrambled eggs were really good. And there's fresh fruit and yogurt, waffles pancakes, cereal.

Excellent, and I mean EXCELLENT hotel. The location is super convenient and easy to find without having to fight a ton of traffic. Check in was super easy, no issues there. The front desk guy Amir was super helpful and friendly, as were all of the staff.

The room was spotless and extremely clean. It had plenty of space. The hotel was quiet. The room had a big couch and a very comfortable bed. The bed was not too soft, so you didn’t sink into the bed, and instead had plenty of support which in my mind is critical. The room also had a little coffee machine and a working fridge which is great because you can keep your drinks cold.

The free breakfast the next morning was TOP NOTCH. There were plenty of seats available. The coffee was hot and fresh. The food and the selection of food was excellent. This WAS NOT a breakfast that had a few stale bagels thrown out on the counter so they could claim “breakfast” on the website. Instead it was an EXCELLENT breakfast with hot sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, and a great selection of cereal and yogurt. Seriously, this place absolutely NAILED IT on the breakfast aspect.

Also, there is a great grassy area outside if you are traveling with a pet and it has poop bags and a little trash can.

So in conclusion, the room is great, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is DELICIOUS and the location is perfect, especially if coming from the airport. Definitely check this place out.

Nowhere can I describe how awesome and caring Isaac Rodriguez is! Any problem that we had from our stay he would be on it ASAP. He always greeted us with a smile when we came and left the hotel, and no matter what you always felt that warmness of welcome back from a family member in him. Better be getting a good raise and better be treated. Like a team captain because me and my family would never forget what an amazing and caring person he is and will forsure come back to stay at this hotel in Chicago soon ! Thanks again Isaac ! From the bottom of our hearts we would like to say thankyou and please continue to be yourself and not let anyone or anything get it between what you’re doing because you’re awesome ! And a bright spark for that company !

First off, I would like to say how friendly and helpful the staff was during our stay over the weekend. The general manager, Issac, was very accommodating and attended to all of our teams needs despite there being multiple soccer teams staying at the hotel. I have stayed in multiple hotels over the years for various soccer tournaments across the country, and I have to say, this was by far the most enjoyable stay I have experienced. The cleanliness of the rooms and entire hotel was outstanding. The continental breakfast had a lot to choose from so there was something for everyone (even the picky eaters). Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely return to the Hyatt Place Chicago/Schaumburg location for another stay in the future :)

Rooms are clean, breakfast is gooood, they make good starbucks lattes better than Starbucks. Front desk people are nice and helpful. Especially thank you to Isaac

Our company held a 5-day training event at the hotel and everything went great! The sales manager, Amir Lika, took very good care of us to ensure a successful event. The meeting room was set up to our specifications the night before, and Amir continued to check in on us each day to take care of anything we needed. The Assistant General Manager, Isaac Rodriguez, was also instrumental in helping us during our stay. He was super nice and fun to have around. Both Amir and Issac played a big role in making sure we had everything we needed and they took care of us very well. Honestly, the entire staff was great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Front Desk Agent Kam always had a smile, and Front Desk Manager Ona was super sweet and made the best coffee! Our event participants and staff really appreciated the morning breakfast and spacious sleeping rooms. Thank you Hyatt Place!

The Hyatt Place was a great experience. From when we checked in, Isaac made us feel right at home. The room was well updated, clean and spacious. Our room was well cleaned everyday. The included breakfast had many tatsy options for any picky pallet. The hotel was in a great spot for us, near family and the Woodfield mall. We will definitely be back

The Army put me up here for a Drill Weekend. Nicer hotel than we normally get. My only complaint, breakfast was served after we had to report for First Formation on Sunday.

Nice clean room, the lady who checked me in was friendly and efficient..id definitely come back and stay here again.

Very nice place to stay. Clean all the way around. Even though we were there with a large group of kids, they kept everything cleaned up and nice. No problems with anything. Plenty to do within 5 to 10 miles.

Lovely welcome from the staff, nice and clean rooms. Special mention to Isaac the assistant manager for very good service. The best I’ve ever had !

Great hotel overall, one of the best of the whole road trip. The area feels very safe, and the room was large and in very good condition. The only small problem was that the toilet was really load - if you flushed it in the night, you woke everybody up.
Breakfast was also very good, with scrambled eggs, sausages, waffle maker etc.
Woodfield mall is 10 minutes walking away - we went there several times. There are also several restaurants even closer by.

First time staying at the property and it was so nice and comfy. The staff interaction was so polite and Professional especially the lady on the night of she’s a gem

Kevin was such an amazing person. He was so professional, friendly and helpful. He made sure that we were completely satisfied and went above and beyond. Though we had to leave like around 2 AM he arranged some fruits and bagel for our breakfast.

The rooms were well maintained and clean. We really liked the location and also the service. Definitely looking forward to book the same hotel for the future trips. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience.

I really liked the layout of the room (though I would have appreciated just a bit more room in the bathroom). The room was quiet, comfortable bed, decent breakfast. I actually loved the pinging sound the water made in the shower. Didn't use the workout room or the pool. Close to other restaurants.

Hotel was great, staff was excellent. We were celebrating multiple 50th birthdays and were able to use the lobby area for a surprise entrance, bartender was friendly. Only issue was breakfast, large selection but food wasn't great, eggs tasted powdered and potatoes were dried out.

One of the best 3-start hotels for the price.
Loved the room layout. Bathroom was well designed and clean.
The TV was accessible from the bed and the small sofa at the start of the room. The partition near the bed makes the single room feel almost like a suite with 2 rooms.
Staff was super friendly. The free breakfast was really good.
