Great place in Alpine, staff super friendly and fast, great food, busy and we shared a table with strangers who are now friends. busy because the food is excellent. I had the chicken fry with jalapeño gravy, mom had The green enchiladas. I also got asada & chili verde Burritos to go.

Yummy breakfast!! I had the huevos rancheros with a side of sausage—great flavors with the beans and my sunny-side-up egg was cooked just right. I also appreciate the discount if paying with cash 💵. Will definitely be back the next time I pass through Alpine!

I’m from Fort Worth and love eating at family owned restaurants. The food was great and friendly service. Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. I will going back in the morning to try breakfast.

This place was recommended to us from someone in Fort Davis and I am glad she recommended it. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic as well especially since we came in 15 minutes before closing time. I really liked our waitress since she was of great spirits and she really took good care of us.
We will be back again when we are in the Alpine area.

I had the #1 plate for breakfast. It came with two eggs (I ordered them scrambled) l, two good-sized pancakes, two slices of bacon, and sausage. The meal was hearty and satisfying. I also had a delicious cup of coffee. When I return to Alpine I will be coming back here for breakfast. I highly recommend this establishment for breakfast.

Not sure if I'm just getting older, but I've been feeling the need to leave a review when I come across something Awesome! So here I am. We stopped for breakfast on Sunday and the place was almost packed with a few tables. Sat down and they took our order lickety split !nd it was out in no time flat. My husband had a Magooritto and some Menudo and gave gave the " we can eat here again" and "that was right on" vote of approval which is really high rating in his book. I had an omelet which was perfection. Staff was jovial, on top of everything in the entire restaurant and having fun! Lots of laughter. Love that in a place!

Good down home cooking. Service was pleasant but a bit slow. Not enough servers for the number of tables.

The reviews are spot on! We had lunch and came back for breakfast before we left town. Chicken Fried Steak with jalapeno gravy was great! The Fries, OMG! Breakfast was awesome! Just go. You won't be disappointed.

Been coming here since 2014 ... Best in the West! God Bless Joe (Magoo), his family and the entire wonderful staff that makes this restaurant one of the top two in The Big Bend Region.

Good homemade food, excellent breakfast!
3 egg omelet, added vegetables, sausage and cheese. Hashbrowns are a must here.

Excellent food, classy atmosphere, great service. A bit expensive but would go again. The steak was excellent.

First time at this place. I had the chicken fried steak with jalapeno gravy which I had never heard of. It was delicious. The gravy was not spicy hot but it had the jalapeno flavor which was very good. Everybody was very nice and made sure that everything was good. Great place in a small town I'll be back

The Maggo Burger was the best burger I've had in a long time, unlike all those so-called "gourmet" burgers that are either too big to eat or are spread all over your plate. This one tasted great and was a perfect lunch.

Found this place on Google when I was passing through. Had the Asado Plate. Great food. Awesome service. Super clean place.
