Wonderful food and service! We went on New Year's Day and they gave us complimentary black eyed peas and cabbage for good luck. Delicious!

Very casual atmosphere with small parking lot. No smoking as far as I could tell. Reasonable prices. Delicious Southern-style food.

Great seafood! Much better than other places nearby.

I have been here many times with my family. This was my grandmother's favorite place to eat. I have always gotten the Egg Sandwich 5 this time did not disappoint. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that our waitress took quite a while to return to us each time she left.
My brother got the chicken tenders, my Aunt got the Chopped Burger Steak. My sister got the kids Alfredo with shrimp. My mom got the Clam Chowder and 5 Garlic Parmesean wings, and Jeff got the Chicken fried Steak.

Came here the other day, and was not absolutely disappointed!! Parking lot is kind of small, but everything else is great! There is also a bar located near the restroom. The place is nice and clean, and the menus are displayed onto the table (which is smart!) I heard the gumbo is good. The prime rib is amazing !!!!! It is only available after 2pm though. the fries, mac and cheese, and salad are also really good too!

Went with friends the other day. I had chicken fried chicken mashed potatoes and green beans. It was very good and creamy gravy delicious

This place is really good! The seafood platter was delicious and fresh! The chicken strips and onion rings were very good and were made with a rich batter. The honey mustard that came with it was so good. The fried cheese sticks were great. The green beans and mac n cheese were good too. We loved the chocolate sheetcake and coconut pie!

Never been let down here! Amazing food! I go for the shrimp n grits and spinach dip. The owner tends to make rounds and greet guests. Even after Hurricane Harvey, they let their doors open to the public while the floors were being cleaned up! Life saver after eating hotel food for days!!

I got the blackened shrimp tacos with sweet potato fries. Absolutely Amazing. The tea is made perfectly and the service is impeccable. I will be back!

Unique ideas on classic southern, Mexican, and Cajun. I enjoyed the Texas Migas for breakfast. Service on Par for what I was looking for. Will return!

Revisit: came back for dinner. It was awesome. I had the seafood sampler that was delicious. My wife had the chicken piccata, which was also exquisite. I also have to say the homemade Mac and cheese was a hit with the young girls and I was happy to finish it off. Lastly, I was introduced to the Saloon Door IPA. As a beer (IPA) snob, I was truly impressed with the beer. All of this was within $70 and an incredible value. Looks like we’ll be regulars.

Used to live across the street a decade ago and frequented this place. Nothing has changed and that was perfect. Almond crusted shrimp was the wife's favorite back then and it was just as good now. The chowder brought me back home.

What a great restaurant! My daughter has been asking for us to go here together so we did. The food, drinks and service were exceptional! We will be returning soon!

My wife and I tried this long established restaurant and so glad we did. It really doesn’t look like much from the outside, but…

The 6 oz. filet my wife ordered rivals the best filet we have ever had in any steakhouse anywhere. Absolute perfection. Served with a side of steamed broccoli with a loaded baked potato. They provide large bowls with shredded cheese, green onions and sour cream so you can load it as much as you want. Why can’t every restaurant do this?

I had the French Dip sandwich. They use bread from Gambino’s Bakery from New Orleans. It was the best French bread! So good. And the roast beef was tender with no fat or gristle like many others I had at other places. The server told us they make the Au Jus from the Prime Rib juices. Y’all….the is is best French Dip I have ever had. I was unreasonably excited about finding a new favorite place. Great French fries too.

The key lime pie was good. They really whipped the cream into the filling so it is light and fluffy with a graham cracker crust. Pretty good and made in their own kitchen. It was so good we ordered a chocolate cream pie to go and ate it later that night. Wow. Great crust and very intense chocolate filling.

My only complaint is that we didn’t try this place earlier. We will definitely be back soon. Probably on a Tuesday or Thursday for their prime rib special.

Home style cooking with consistency..I've like everything I've ordered here over the last year, especially the pies..liver and onions are just ok,no aujus or gravy but the pot roast,French dip and the green beans are amazing..

Hubs and I love this place. We've taken the kids to eat, they love it. We've stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and loved it. Now we've stopped in and come in the back door one night..and y'all need to do that yourself. It's not fancy but it feels like you belong instantly.

Arrived around 6:00 p.m. on a weekday night. Very attentive service, laid back atmosphere and very good food for a reasonable price. Save room for desserts prepared in their kitchen you will not want to miss.

The menu is printed on a placemat underneath a piece of plastic so it's kind of difficult to read their menu. Also daily specials you may want to check out on the board.

The food and service were very good. We will definitely be back.
