Friendly employees. Smaller for a grocery store, but always great meat and vegtable selections. Great selection of beer and wine.

Great local store - so close to my house and always helpful and friendly service. Glad and thankful to have something so close!

Great spot for groceries and always have a great selection of locally sourced goods. Also have a great craft beer selection. Locally owned and operated. Produce is fresh and the meat selection is good. Plus they have Conecuh Sausage. And it’s delish.

And they carry Das GüD hot sauce and seasonings. And it’s good. Or GüD. Whichever you prefer. Just get some.

Maybe try some chicken tenders. They’re tasty. I mean they got those big tater logs and they’re a good compliment to the tenders. You’re missing out if you ain’t on them tenders bruh.

Quick in, quick out. They offer you paper bags like old school. The fried fish from the deli is the truth

Very clean, brightly lit, nice, organized grocery store. Produce section has fresh, attractive produce. Employees are friendly and engaging. Beautiful meat section. Wine selection was awesome.. the specialty cheese section was awesome as well. There's also a small variety of healthy, potted plants in this store. You can find everything you need at this Arlan's.

Arlans is a unique neighborhood store. They have a very good bakery and their chicken tenders are the best! Their smoked sausage is awesome. Some of their items are a bit pricey but they do run excellent sale deals. I love to get the fresh ground coffee. The Organic Costa Rica beans are the most flavorful cup of coffee I've ever had. If you can't find something the staff will gladly help you find it. They may even try and get it ordered if possible. All in all it's a great neighborhood store.
Update: they no longer carry the Costa Rican coffee beans but still have other great selections.

UPDATE 12/29/2023. Arlans was sold and new owners look like they are making a few changes. One I don't like is you can no longer get money back on your transaction. They also dont sell money orders, or Lotto anymore!!! That's not good, but we'll see if they bring in their own machines.

Good clean stores. Has the feeling of a small mom and pop store in a small town.

They have a wide verity of products, really impressive for this size store.

They have great hours, perfect for when you need something last minute.

Prices are more expensive than HEB, but you can get in and out faster then HEB or Walmart.

We come here for the chicken strips they sell in the back. Always good quality.

Staff is always courteous, kind and helpful. This is my favorite grocery store. It is only a few miles down the street for me.

I like it here, it gives me a feeling of nostalgia when walking the aisles compared to the mega stores like Walmart, or Costco. As a smaller store, it won’t have most of the unnecessary stuff you need, but it will have all the necessary stuff plus more.

This store is hard to see from Highway 1 as you go around curve and it is set back in shopping center. I wanted to see if the layout was similar to Hempstead store i had been in a few weeks ago and liked. It was pretty much the same . Not crowded and people were helpful. Good selection of canned goods that are Arlan brand and got some Chow Chow to put on Po' Boys, and medium size Pecan Pie. Hempstead had a medium size Pecan Tart Tart (Arlan) was excellent. Liked the wide isles. They have a pharmacy too. Will definately shop again when in Seabrook area.

Wanna make your next party / event a big hit ?? The bakery dept at Arlans, specifically Elizabeth made this beautiful edible artwork of a cake !! Not only was it delicious to the taste as well as the eyes, the kids loved it and my son was sooo happy !!! The customer service here is wonderful, they were quick and accommodating as well. The price was very reasonable. She also does excellent cupcakes as well as alot of holiday treats. I hate to give this secret away, but Elizabeth and the team at Arlans did such a great job that we had to mention !!

Prices are a bit high, however they have old fashioned quality customer service and very friendly staff.

The fresh produce section here is Fantastic!! Never crowded with kind of an old school grocery store feel. Not Wal Mart cheap but it's worth it to shop in peace and have a friendly, traditional checkout. Plenty of selection with everything. An overall enjoyable grocery shopping experience.

The pharmacy & grocery store itself is great! Always clean and their customer service is superb! Their prices are great as well as the selection variety. The pharmacist also has great customer service & prices!

Arlan's is a convenient well stocked grocery store with a good selection of produce meat and baked goods as well as brand name goods. One of the few grocery stores ive seen with frog legs which is pretty cool. Also a nice selection in their beer and wine section.
