Prettyman Aquatics

This place is a hidden gem! Danny is very knowledgeable and houses his fish in individual tanks which should help limit any disease from newly shipped fish. Also, the individual tanks were set up with gravel and decorations and were not just empty glass tanks set up to sell fish as quickly as possible. All the fish I purchased were healthy, are doing well a week later and a convict I purchased even laid eggs 4 days after bringing it home in a newly set up tank!

If there is one negative it is the current in store selection is currently limited (though I still found a lot of what I was looking for) but the best part of Pettyman Aquatics is they can special order virtually any tropical freshwater fish you want! Also, his nice setup is getting ready to expand (there were many large tanks waiting to be setup in his shop)! I can’t wait to see it once all of the new tanks are ready for fish! Better yet his prices are VERY reasonable!

Skip the big box stores and their questionable fish (and much higher chances of having disease) and support the little guys like Pettyman Aquatics. For sure check this place out if you are into tropical freshwater.

Small shop but great place Danny knows his fish I got 4 koi that are beautiful and he had them ship in just for me so if you stop by and dont see what you are looking for talk to him he is vary friendly. I also get my feeders from him and I know he takes care of the fish. So stop in see what he has and talk to him.

Danny was extremely helpful with my selection of fish. He had a good selection in stock and was very professional. I would recommend his business to anyone in the hobby.
