Excellent service at reasonable prices from very nice people! Atkins Bike Verona has been servicing my two Specialized ebikes for a couple of years now and have been terrific with many things from helpful tips and minor adjustments to complete warranty motor replacement.

My wife and I had our bikes overhauled, at Atkins Cycle, in Verona. By far, the VERY best bicycle service we have ever received, at an extremely reasonable price. Everything they fixed is spot-on perfect. The brakes are BETTER than when I bought the bikes. If you live in Verona—or even if you live in Madison, I strongly urge to you shop for bikes and get your bike repaired at Atkins Cycle, in Verona. The nicest, most competent, thoughtful, careful and dedicated bicycle store I have ever visited. They were super attentive to us and to our bikes, unlike the larger bike stores in Madison. These are lifetime professionals who own the store and do the work themselves. I give them two hooves up-------way up, off the charts! Besides, they spell the word shop as "shoppe", and that is old-timey in a good way. Stop reading reviews and go to Atkins Verona Bicycle Shoppe already!!! :)

Out riding and hit a bump then my seat dropped! I tried to get it back up but no luck? Atkins Bike was just ahead. They fixed my seat wedge and set my seat height correctly again and was rolling again. Fast Friendly great place for all your cycling needs.

Atkins was recommended by close friends who had nothing but good things to say. Ally was SO knowledgeable, patient and kind. She sure knows her bikes. We have bought two used kids bikes from Atkins. They are great bikes at a good price! We have had several bikes worked on at Atkins and they have always done a great job at a good price! We needed a bike tube replaced and the owner Dan was able to fix it for me immediately!

Stopped in tonight for the first time, happened to have my wheel with a flat in the car. They identified the problem immediately, replaced the tube, and inspected the tire for the source of the previous or possible future damage. They were friendly, welcoming, unexpectedly were able to fix my problem right on the spot, and have very fair pricing. Highly recommend!

Had Dan help me with refurbishing a 1985 Schwinn Le Tour Luxe. His work in rebuilding the rims with stainless steel spokes is fabulous. I've had Dan build wheels for me since the 1980s and in my opinion, he's the best.

Dan is great! Years of knowledge and experience, they always have the parts I need. Even for a 50 year old vintage road bike.

Wonderful customer service. Stumbled upon this shop while looking for a part for my son’s bike. I called several bike shops without luck and then I called Atkins. They had the part, set it aside and my son’s bike was up and running that afternoon. They’re also servicing two kids scooters for me. I will give them my business from now on.

My go-to bike shop! Incredibly knowledgable and friendly, plus great mechanics. I have popped in with broken spokes, squishy brakes, and clicking bottom brackets, and they get me back on the road pronto! Definitely kept me rolling through the pandemic. Plus, it's a local family operation, and that shows with how much they care about bicycling and their customers.

I just recently bought a Specialized Rockhopper from them. Their knowledge and customer service is above all. They treated me like family. I had a few issues during the break in period and they fixed the bike immediately to get me back on the trail at no cost! Their Mechanic Mike is awesome!!!

Best local bike shop in the Madison area, hands down. The owner, Dan, is a great guy as well as being extremely knowledgeable about all things bikes. Happy to have this place here as our one stop bike shop for all purchases and information!
