St. Vinny's Verona

I work from home and use this store to take breaks, so I’m there often. What a wonderful establishment. I buy about a baker’s dozen books per week, and new options are are added consistently.

The employees are incredible. They are always friendly, even when some bitter elderly woman is screaming about the prices of random glassware. You don’t need another vase, you old shrew.

This store is always clean and well-organized. I can never find jeans, but this is an issue at many Madison thrift stores. Another reason might be that I’m tall and muscular, so the jeans I’m searching for aren’t frequently donated. What was I talking about?

I had such a good experience Tuesday morning. I was looking at an entertainment stand that had glass panels in the back for protection. When I inquired about them the assistant brought them over and unwrapped every one. We inspected each one ( all like new ). She installed each one on the appropriate shelves because they were different sized. She even labeled them for me. She did everything and was willing and wanting to help, very nice and fun. They even loaded it into my car. It was $32.50 and in perfect condition. This store has always been my favorite St. Vinny’s.

I prefer St. Vinny’s over other thrift stores, mainly because of their variety. The service is typically more consistent throughout locations vs. other resellers. Their drop/off service is very quick and easy!

Very nice thrift store with a great location. Ample parking. As of 03/30/19 they were renovating their bathrooms and did not have any available for customers. Lots of bargains can be found here ranging from household items, shoes, clothes, books, etc.

One of the best St Vincent de Paul thrift stores around. Prices are good. Inventory is abundant. Store is clean, neat and well organized. Associates are friendly, efficient, and work efficiently. Parking is ample. There are plenty of shopping carts.
The only complaint is they still do not have operational bathrooms available for customers. This has been ongoing for a very long time, maybe even more than a year!!!
Overall, this is a great thrift store.

I was really impressed with how well organized and clean this thrift store was. The book section especially seemed to be thoughtfully curated and organized and was even shelved alphabetically. Additionally, they have some really interesting, though slightly more expensive items at the front of the store. Friendly staff too!

One of my favorite thrift shops in the area. Always clean and well organized (for a thrift shop). Prices are more than fair on most items. The selection is wide. The staff are always courteous and helpful. Just a fun place to browse. I almost always find some little "treasure" when I go here. The one thing that almost cost a star was that it seems like their bathrooms are out of order more than they are available, so I'd make sure to "go" before you go. Otherwise, I love this store!

Great array of 2nd hand everything

Absolutely the best. Some clothes are priced higher than at other thrift stores, but the quality is higher too, and well worth it. Plus, if you sign up for their rewards program, it's super easy to generate additional savings on essentially every visit, and you can use & accumulate points at any of their locations in the area.

Review on donation center only: large indoor bay around back behind the store. Bay is large enough for anyone who has a trailer. Everything is marked for ease of access. People are then there to greet you and help you unload. Very nice and quick service.

I visit here frequently. A well organized, well priced, and clean store. The Madison area SVDP stores are excellent. It's like a positive feedback loop because of the community we are in: We have more community/environmentally minded people looking to donate and wealthier people donating better items, making better stores, drawing more people of more incomes to shop & donate, which means more resources for SVDP to become even better. Some select items are a bit higher priced, but get marked down eventually. I actually appreciate this, because the most interesting & valuable items are still a deal, but don't immediately get sold. I see several reviews writing off the whole store because ONE employee was rude, ONE item was overpriced, or because rules that apply to everyone were applied to you. Have some gratitude for the service they offer, and remember they are first and foremost a charity trying to provide community assistance and job opportunities!

I have always found the staff helpful, the store clean and organized. I appreciate the fact that the thrift store makes money for the projects, maintenance and upkeep of St Vincent de Paul. I know I am not shopping at a garage sale. St Vincent does a lot for the surrounding community. I appreciate their work and whenever I can I stop in their store.

Great selection of merchandise, pricing is spot on, on most items, a little bit expensive on the few others. Overall great experience every time, helpful, and courteous staff as well. Very clean and organized store!

Always a pleasure.The staff is always friendly and very helpful. If your a bargain hunter like i am, you will certainly enjoy shopping there. They always have good deals but every once in a while ill find something worth 100+ times what theyre asking for it. I guess thats probably why Ebay sellers frequent places like this. Whoever prices their merchandise should probably research the products a litte better because ive seen just as many rediculously over priced items that never get sold. In any case, it is a very nice place with plenty of merchandise and definitely worth a stop.

It's a good charity. Although we seldom shop here we frequently stop here with things that we are donating. They make donations of goods easy. They have a covered (indoor) drive through drop off. An attendant will take your donations and give you a receipt. The entrance to the drive through for donations is located in the back (South) side.

Verona location seems to have the best selection of items. Easy drive up to drop your your donation off. You can find a lot of unique items if you are there at the right time. Always friendly staff to help.

Great selection of items in every "Dept." Sales staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

These stores, throughout the Madison area, are so awesome to find great items and really, really fantastic prices.... I have only been a few times so far and have blown away each time... Selection and completeness far beats, the Goodwills and Salvation Army stores...

I love getting new board games from here. Lots of floor space, plenty of choices at great prices.

Have been to this location a few times and very impressed with the selection and the cleanliness of this store. Everything is organized better than any other location I've visited. Friendly staff.
