RTL Electric Co

We had a power surge on 8/17/20 and tried contacting a number of electric service repair persons and companies. RTL Electric Co. was the only one to promptly contact us. Rep. Meredith took the info on the problem, provided us with estimated costs (hourly , travel charge) and approximate time of service. Within 3 days we were set up with a service appointment. The service person Kerry was outstanding. He checked the circuit panel & transfer switch, the outlets that had experienced the surge, the furnace and our generator. Although he couldn't fix the generator he did provide a diagnosis of the problem and suggestions that we passed on to the Generac repairman. Same for the furnace (transformer had taken the hit) which we passed on to our HVAC tech. All in all my wife and I couldn't have asked for better service. Hence, the 5 star rating.

We've been using RTL since our building (Gress Chiropractic) was built. They are reliable, charge fairly, and do the job right the first time. Pleasure to work with them!

A few years ago we had an automatic generator installed by RTL Electric. Their electricians were polite and friendly. Dan was very knowledgeable in helping us pick up the generator that would fit our needs and best installation options. Now when we are away from home we don’t worry if the power goes out. RTL continues to provide annual maintenance.

Very happy with the work done. Very professional and clean. Didn't take as long as anticipated and didn't cost as much as I thought. Will use them again :)

Called to request a estimate, talked to Dan. He said he couldn't get out this week, he would call following week to schedule. Never received call back. Since then had two companies came out and had estimates from one within 5 days. Used RTL in the past...never again.
